if the article is true, i believe it would either be rihanna or lady gaga. more likely lady gaga though.
mariah carey has already announced her release date to be in may, and she is flopping so terribly, so even if she used such a tactic, i don't think anyone would give a flying fuck. her company would not be so dumb to do this.
rihanna is overdue for her annual album ritual, and i'm sure there are rumours regarding her next album being in works. with her huge social media presence, there's a chance she could do this. the only unlikely reason is because she's more of a singles artist, so she might want to rely on huge singles to kick off the album.
as for lady gaga, she's rumoured to be releasing act ii of artflop. releasing it without notice would save the company promotion cost after a $25 million disappointment. furthermore she is definitely one to promote her album aggressively on social media as mentioned in the article. there's also a possible live concert tie in which means that it could have been released to save pathetic sales of the artrave tour. with the artrave tour starting in may, this is just about the right time to drop it. the final reason for her being the most likely person to do this is because she's the queen of xerox, so she probably has queen bey's tactic analysed inside out too.

So, i've been a fan for such a long time (since LAV, although i liked Holiday a lot) that sometimes i'm surprised to find a new fan.
Mr. Five Elements has just said in another thread that he's a fan since Hard Candy. And i have some questions for new fans.
1. What is the album that surprised you the most when you started listening to old albums?
2. What is the song that you didn't know it was Madonna, but you loved years ago?
3. What shocked you the most about Madonna when you learned a bit about her?
4. Do you think fans from a certain album are simmilar in a way? I mean, are ROL 'newbies' more into ballads and deep songs, and COADF 'newbies' more into bombastic pop?
i've only become a fan when confessions on a dance floor came about. i was 12 at that time.

3. when i first started looking her up on the internet in 2005, i was shocked to find out she's 47 and has been ultra famous for a long long time. she looked 30 to me max in the ads for confessions on a dance floor and i thought she's a new singer.
4. i think it depends on how much they love each album. madonna sang a variety of genres in her albums, so if you like all her albums like me, then you like most songs. if you just happen to discover her when she's into her nth album, it's might just be luck to know her so late.

i got 144. i couldn't think of many of the album tracks off my head lol, and the soundtrack albums are killing me. i never really loved the non single songs on them.

if this is true, then we are still quite a period of time away from it being revealed as madonna, since they are gonna have to play it in clubs under kleinenberg's name and making it a dance hit first.
