yes i will always be a madonna fan.
honestly i thought about what happens when madonna dies, and i just couldn't imagine the days without madonna news, since i've been reading this forum daily for years. it would be like a slow news day, but way worse. the madonna we know always moves forward and gives us new things all the time, but after she dies, i guess we can only rely on the unreleased recordings and the annual anniversaries to help us move forward.

When Madonna decided to name her fitness apparel and DVD line Hard Candy, we doubt she realized how much trouble a name would cause her.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, beauty company Hard Candy is suing the “Material Girl” and her business partner for copyright infringement and unfair competition, claiming the Queen of Pop stole its name. In court documents filed earlier this month, the company stated that songstress refused to sit down for a deposition unless a judge ordered her to do so.
But now Radar can exclusively report that what Madonna feared actually happened! In court documents obtained by Radar, a judge sided with the beauty company, stating, “prior to taking the deposition of Madonna Louise Ciccone, the plaintiff shall take the depositions of the three individuals who filed affidavits in this matter as to jurisdictional contacts with Florida to determine if those individuals have sufficient knowledge regarding jurisdictional matters . . .

“If the three individuals do not have sufficient knowledge as to jurisdictional matters, Ciccone may be subject to deposition,” the documents state.

for all the previous madonna tours, the earliest she has ever started was in april, so i don't think she will start so early in jan or feb. earliest date should be late march or even april. the weather would still be reasonable then in australia. im guessing australia in near mid april, and then some dates in asia and middle middle east, before going on her usual north american and european legs in the next half of the year and wrapping up with south america near the end of the year.

the obvious title is "reductive". it will slay every album (and maybe the artists' careers) out in that period of time, before, during and after. and the ad will consist of madonna saying look it up.

if lady gag had to turn up for jury duty, you can bet she will announce it to the world and dress up in the craziest costume. then she will do some stupid dance in front of the courthouse and there will be a few people watching and laughing, thinking it's the mating ritual of a swine. in the end, the court will eject her because she is too stupid and coked up to do jury duty.

i actually really hope some investigator could accidentally leak her finances and show forbes and other detractors just how shitty they are at estimating her worth lol. it's bad of me to think that way but she really needs to show them what she's worth, literally.

what makes coadf so good? even though it's a dance album, the dance tracks are unlike any others. up till today, it still sounds absolutely unique, unlike the mindless beats of current dance music. the melody is sleek and the transition from track to track is superb and feels like a very chill dance party. madonna manages to make us feel warmth in her vocals, despite sounding aloof through the digital masking. and she has elements of disco in it without sounding dated. the album is so cohesive it has to be viewed as a body of work to do it justice.
what makes the coadf era even better was the relentless promotion that lasted mutliple months, ranging from performances to television advertisements, as well as the lead single hung up, which could have been the megahit of a lifetime for any artist.
the tour itself was pure elegance. it's my favourite tour of all time :faint: the future lovers opening was so so beautiful. the coadf was such perfection...

madonna is right, forbes doesn't know a shit. mdna tour grossed $305million in their calculating span and she ended up earning $125million that year. beyonce's mrs carter tour grossed ~$186million in their calculating span and she ended up earning $115million. like really? so beyonce earns so much more on her album and product endorsements than madonna did. right on forbes...

with so many big name releases from universal (madonna, gaga, swift, rihanna, u2) in q4, do you think they will spread out the releases to avoid a head on for them? if they do, then the only real threats madonna is left with is adele and maybe michael buble, as well as splashovers from second week of taylor swift and adele.

i dont think madonna takes home most of the awards that she collects. she probably just passes it to her assistant to keep, and then it gets forgotten, until it ends up being discovered again decades later and going to the auction house.
