  1. No, dear, you are everything. Some young uns are really cool and know more than me about lots of stuff, you can't put an age on knowledge, intelligence or maturity.

I'm most impressed with your love of Queen Marlene and all the silent movies you've seen - I've never seen ONE :rotfl::shy: Though I do have the Criterion Collection DVD of The Passion of Joan of Arc which I will watch someday :wow:

Aw, thank you loomer :inlove: I am nothing, you are everything.

I fell in love with Marlene when I was 6 so that's what got me into the whole old movies thing.

Coked Up Baby Boy, you're pretty ancient yourself compared to me... just kidding! (forgive my, my elder)

Anyway, I give my respect to people who are older than me, M fans or not. That's a given. They obviously know more and have experienced more. They are the coolest and no one can touch'em.

Older people (which doesn't mean old people btw, old people are like 80) are so intimidating though, maybe it's because I'm a newbie to this forum but I'm REALLY scared of everyone here, no joke. :scared:

BUT just because I'm not older doesn't mean I'm not a real fan.

  3. I've only bought one pirated thing and it was a Madonna thingamabober. But I knew it was fake.

Well look at it this way. What if a dentist like yours, but not as good yet cheaper alligned itself with you. Like say your dentist practise was called, Super Smile. Then Super Smiles opens up next door, is much cheaper yet promises the same appearance and it takes revenue away from you. Then Super Smiles puts Super Smile out of business. Don't you think it would be sad?

Then the first super smiles would have a super frown :(

  4. They've been showing commercials for this show during "The Office" and "30 Rock" for a while now -- over a month, it feels like. And the commercials actually made me laugh a little. I don't think it's a problem for her to do this.

Actually, all the headlines I saw today were kind of snarky, saying "twice-divorced Madonna" etc. Which is a bit of a slap at her, and it's kind of rude, because the commercials NOW are showing the first panel of guests include Kelly Ripa ( :inlove: ) and Alec Baldwin. Now, Alec Baldwin is divorced and famously harsh to his daughter in a voicemail rant, so why pick on Madonna as a guest? Maybe the point is to have someone from a (seemingly) successful relationship and someone from a failed marriage and someone who's not married at all, etc. We don't really know the full concept yet in that regard.

Yeah I know! I heard about it on the news too and it kinda sounded like they were taking little digs at her. Plus they used one of the crappiest pictures they could have used from RRHOF.
