It's seeming more and more likely that this is going to be her usual promo which essentiall adds up to NOTHING. Unless of course they're waiting for the final week to maximise the impact.

Looks like the extent of her promo is going to be akin to what she did for Hard Candy - sideview camera shots of her talking to mock interviewers which are then distributed to TV channels for the presenters to do the links on the questions. Still, at least she's not whoring herself to whoever will have her like Lady Ga Ga is supposedly doing, heaven forbid, she might actually have a hit if she did.

As utterly boring as Madonna is at the moment there's no question of the fact that her children are being raised in a stable environment and are well adjusted. There'll be no 'Mommie Dearest' books in years to come from Lourdes and Rocco for sure. Can't say about those she adopted - that one Bette Davis adopted stuck the knife in while she was still alive - Bette should have let her rot in that orphanage. As for her going out with a 22 year old, SO WHAT, she's doing what she's always done, ignoring society's 'rules' about what's acceptable.
Whitney Houston was always a vile individual, just like her aunt Dionne Warwick and she's now trying to put the blame on her ex for the way she fucked up her life.
Anyways, whether Madonna does the X Factor or not, we all know that the real coup for this series will be getting Lady Ga Ga to agree to do the show.

What is clear- and something that M even has owned up to- is that overall, she is not as into making videos as she once was
Unless it's a back drop for the tour when they're largely upto her usual standard.
I still ain't bought this and won't until the NTSC issue is addressed by Warners. It's such a shame that the whole project is a mess because she'll never have an enduring, staple seller that emcompasses her entire career.

I'm surprised that Robbie's single sales are holding up so well, which means the album will do the business.
I'm assuming that album sales will have started to rocket by this time next month. It always struck me as odd that the released Celebration so early but they must have wanted to ensure a number 1, which they wouldn't have done had they gone up against Subo and Alexandra etc. If they start to push it when sales pick up it could well do one million by year end but only if she promotes.

Cheryl has apparently sold 135,000 already (which is completely absurd).
But not unexpected - it still stinks that it's going to be one of the decade's biggest sellers on the back of a hit TV show.
‘Celebration’ is out of the top ten.DISMAL - I had a feeling it would slip form the top 5, to around 7 but they really are letting this die a quick death.
