She's a singles act and there's no way she'll be able to compete with the strong sellers over the festive period. I expect they'll advertise it to death and include clips from the Kylie Show () as 2 Farts ain't gonna help it.
-
She'll be lucky to get top 5 with the album, I'm surprised they're releasing it so late.
-
at 2 Farts.
I bet they send single number 2 to radio in early December with a release in January, when there's zilch competition for it.
*FLUSH*

It's great to see it beating Kylie's comeback single. Nice to see superior music winning out over mediocrity.
Indeed.
-
Yep. I saw them in HMV today, which means they're out next week in the UK.
Good.
And yes, I was surprised at how much I liked the Alicia single.
-
So are Alicia Keys and Rhianna both out as physicals next week?
-
That Rhianna song is another one I detest.
-
Thank heavens that Baby Love track is flopping, it's been irritating the shit out of me ever since I first heard it.
-
That Kylie single gets WORSE with each listen. I'm surprised it's doing so well on airplay.

Shane displays a quite bulging, er, bulge in his jeans
I can see the appeal of Nicky but he's too much of a pretty boy for my liking. Neither Kian or Mark have ever created a stir in my groin.
-
Well Westlife did beat the Spice Girls in the last albums battle they had but it looks like even the grannies are tiring of them with such low sales.
They really do need to FUCK OFF. Surely Louis Walsh must realise that next year's Boyzone reunion will relegate them even further and there's no chance of a future reunion for them unless they disappear for at least five years.
Nevertheless, I'd still shag Shane Filan.

1 1 Mika Grace Kelly 476743
2 2 Rihanna feat Jay Z Umbrella 469256
I thought Umbrella had done loads more than that - she was on some show saying how pleased she was that it was the biggest selling single of the decade.

It is possible that Leone may block Kylie and Spice Girls from #1 next week
We can but HOPE. I can't stand acts getting to number one with a pile of wank, due to a ZEALOUS fanbase. And that applies to everyone; I was pleased that American Life and Hollywood stalled at 2.

I am chuckling about the seizure some Britney fans will have with this, after they swore for their lives it'd hit #1!
Come on, it's not like the album hasn't had enough controversy
But like Johnnox said, she's never been a big album seller in the UK, even on the back of massive hit singles they've done lack lustre sales. It's the opposite in the US with her albums being bigger hits.
I have to say I'm genuinely ASTOUNDED by Britney's chart success with this comeback; I was convinced that there had been too much media attention and everyone would shun her.

Singles
03 Westlife :chuckle:/
03 Britney SpearsWhy the chuckle? ITZ didn't even make top 10.
-
I hope Leona can hold off Westlife.
-
Excellent sales for Take That.

Madonna hasn't been considered sexy by these kinds of mags since the late 80s i.e. when it became clear to the wank fodder aficionados that she had a brain in her head. One mag in the early 90s likened kissing her to kissing Hitler; it's nothing new.
And I've said all along that the reaction to the adoption was racist. She's reinvented her self as an upper class wife and mother with a home in middle England and suddenly that perception of her was shattered with a black, African baby being brought into the fold. Racism and homophobia are still strong in British soceity, no matter how PC people claim to be.
-
I'm very much doubt she'd be desperate to fuck the guy who wrote that article and he no doubt knows it.
-
I've been out of the loop as far as charts go for ages but I'm pleased to see the Sugababes get to number 1 and I can't believe Shayne Ward has done so well.
-
I'm with Johnnox and the Mack on as far as Scissor Sisters are concerned.
-
Well I've only been by physicals of singles by my favourite artists for years now. Who needs nice artwork when the song is just a passing fancy from a particular act.
-
Downloads are really making a big impact on the charts. Apparently Lee Mead is number 1 on physical sales, Take That number 5 and Menly C number 11. That's not to say if downloads didn't exist, people wouldn't be buying the tracks in physical format.
Has Hey You charted yet?

Sky News are saying it's a "surefire number 1".
