the Ultimate Greatest Hits Collection "Celebration
Wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't just a repackaging of TIC and VC93:99
-
When TIC was released, reviewers were commenting that she'd had so many hits that she couldn't fit them all onto a single disc. This time they'll be commenting how she's left some of her biggest hits off in favour of flops and poorly received tracks. Even moreso in terms of the US where Sorry, Celebration, Hollywood etc are as big a flops as MA was in the rest of the world.
-
LAUGHABLE
-
I wonder if those tracks deleted from the provisional track list were remastered. Wouldn't suprise me if Warners don't issue more singles, in addition to the two new tracks so maybe we'll get them on a Holiday Collection type of CD. Burning Up and Everybody could make the UK charts at last but they'll probably go with the biggies if they do resissue stuff.

"If people think I'm the new Madonna that's fine by me - but I think I'll eventually eclipse her level of fame and success."
Geri Halliwell
"I'd like to record a duet with Madonna but I want to wait a couple of years, so that I'm on the same level as her, as a solo artist."
Melanie C
"You know what - I think I'm more talented than Madonna."
Pink
In the 80s, Whitney was always bleating on about Madonna being a gonna and how she'd have more longevity

36 58 Just Jack The Day I Died
Absolutely love this track - a future number 1 I reckon.
-
Sounds like Mariah's people are shitting it if they've made her record additional tracks. It'll outsell Madonna though as she's still a current female act in the US.
-
Happy Birthday - this time next year you'll be twice my age.
-
He could be the reincarnation of a fetus she aborted.
-
UK radio isn't embracing this and Radio 1 will probably relegate her along with the old presenters they got rid of. This is shaping up to be another flop.
-
?
The AL video will be on the dvd.
Has the official tracklisting for that been released then - and if so, on what page?
-
@ Miles Away being included over some of her massive hits but quite telling that it's followed by Take A Bow.
I guess we won't be getting the AL video anytime soon then.
-
I guess it had to end EVENTUALLY
-
She really is OVER in the US
Has this even been released in the UK - seems like it could be an internet hit only
-
Erm, it made Wow (a previously unheard album track) go top 5 on iTunes.
Erm, she performed it on the Kylie Show
-
Strangely tho, when Kylie appeared on the show her dire performance didn't result in a boost in sales of X or her back catalouge.
Kylie with the eventual winner - who's since been DROPPED - she taught him well
-
The report is slightly contradictory in that it states 1st November but then it says ITV are planning to move the final to another venue, big enough to accommodate her - the final isn't until mid-December. I also read yesterday that they'd considered changing the venue for the live shows of this series but couldn't afford to. My preference would be for her to do the final.
why anyone would be appalled at her doing such a show is beyond me - business sense aside, if anyone has made it primarily on the X factor, it's Madonna.
Oh and LOL at her being impressed by the JLS video - it's about the standard we've come to expect from her of late.
-
No, top 30 maybe.
-
Miles Away
-
They've probably forgotten that the original versions even exist
-
Madonna's 2 biggest flops followed after GH albums. Erotica and American Life.
Good thing Warners are dropping her after this one.
-
Immaculate Collection Advert features "Who's that Girl" video, but it was not on CD or Video.
That was the COOLEST ad ever - no words or anything, just the hits - the ARROGANCE of it
-
SINGLE

If that track list is real then Live To Tell is the most GLARING omission. However, I could live with it as DCFMA ain't included - nothing against the track but it's not part of Madonna's pop legacy.
"Celebration" OFFICIAL TRACKLIST!
in ARCHIVE - Madonna

But that's my point, Madonna could have done but chose to include the DROSS alongside it.
