I just hope she put those heels up in Terry's ass... you know, just for the heck of it...

She won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.....that was her critical acclaim and recognition as an actress. She would be wise to stay with that genre a while if she hopes to gain further success and accolades as an actress. As someone mentioned, she acts best in a music video form, and Evita was essentially a long music video. Given the right vehicle (role) in a well-composed and executed musical, she certainly has Oscar potential. Instead M found it best to leave the musical genre for romantic comedy and we all know how well that panned out....
After Swept Away she stated that she would never again make the sacrifices needed as an actress as critics were out for her before the film was even completed. So, it would still be smart to focus her film endeavors, acting, directing or otherwise, in the musical genre as that is where people, including critics, are more likely to accept her.
I agree but that would really be the easy way. And frankly, both Filth & Wisdom and W./E. cannot be labelled as "bad movies". She took the risks and did a good job at it.

BRUNETTE MADONNA deserves a come back! She looks much younger with her natural hair colour! I'm so tired of the blonde hair tbh.
I absolutely agree it fits her so well

Oh I based upon the last post I saw, my mistake

anyways, she should act on Sunset Boulevard, that´s a role she can really play (nearly)better than anybody
Now that you mention it, I can totally picture it.

I think I'll go to the store the day of it's release - it's not as if it's some limited edition. And in this day and age of everything digital, I miss going to the store, buying the real deal, taking the blister off, discovering the booklet and all... ah, the 90s...

Yeah, I do think so. And, although I absolutely LOVE Borderline, I do have to admit that the PRODUCTION is cheesy and sounds very 80's - but, that adds to the charm, IMO, and the song's carried well by the fact that it, inherently, is a great song at its core.
I agree. I feel like I'm starting a game of The Legend of Zelda when I listen to Borderline

What if it's another AL?
I'd love that ! AL...

And we're stuck again! Butter9 cast his latest vote too early, and Thief of Hearts' vote must be taken from fantasyland

"There's a certain satisfaction in a little bit of pain"
Lyrics count too right?
But my ALL TIME FAV is
"A lot of people are afraid to say what they want. That's why they don't get what they want"
I love that one too !

I wonder how the video she wanted to do with Tarantino would have looked like
Also : didn't she ask Woodkid to direct one for her, which he turned down to focus on hiw own projects ?
