[MDNA VS ARTPOP]

I've heard a couple of songs from Artpop on the radio - the only decent one was Applause. I didn't even care to download the album for free. Although MDNA is one of my least favorite Madonna's albums, it has a few decent tracks. I know both Madonna and Gaga can do better than that!

I am not a fan of "Justify My Love". The video is great, and actually its music is good, too (I have instrumental version). The problem is she doesn't sing it, only whispers, which I don't appreciate.

What makes you think hard core Madonna fans only like ballads? I like ballads but personally I would like the first single to be something I can dance and move around to, but maybe not club/techno. Dancing and having fun is not just for teenagers.

This is simply becasue she has not had a good ballad as a lead single for years, if not decades. When was it last time? I guess with Evita back in 1996! I don't insists though - but please-please, no rappers, no collaborations :-)))That does not mean the album needs to be ballads only, I only referred to a lead single. Just my opinion.

Madonna needs to give up her aukward attempts to please youths, and release just a good song to please her hard-core fans, and most likely it has to be a good ballad. I realize that most likely it will not be all over the charts (Top 40 is still a possibility though) - that's fine. I even understand that her next album (no matter how good it will be) may not reach Number 1 and sell less than MDNA - that's also fine. However, I still expect her selling tickets well (people want to see the legend!), and that's the most important thing for her and the industry.

I believe Eroticas was a true flop, because prior to that Madonna was untouchable - Erotica has changed that. AL was a bigger flop in terms of numbers, but it was not quite shocking. MDNA could be considered a flop of the flops, but the truth is that albums do not make money anymore, so nowadays albums are not really that important.

It's a beautiful song - I was just listening to it earlier today! IB has a number of great tracks including ballads - I wish Madonna got back to simple ballads that she sings in a deep voice!

I would prefer a good solo song that does not score high on charts than a collaboration (a-la Justin or Nicki Minaj) that propel a lousy song to go top-5.

Ray of Light! Not that it is a bad album, but there are way better albums that were not met with open arms.

I would vote for Bedtime Stories - great album, so much better than her previous effort! American Life is also underrated, but it is not as good as Bedtime Stories.

I think the album version of the song is way too overprocessed - it just does not sound naturally. The tour version is better, but her voice was not at her best. The video and performance are cool though.

I can hear Madonna quite often; mostly her 80s staff - Holiday, Crazy for You, Into the Groove, Papa Don't Preach, True Blue, La Isla Bonita. Also Vogue, I'll Remember, Take a Bow, 4 Minutes. Never ever heard Justify My Love or Erotica :-))))
