  1. Yes, I didn't have time to go to HMV and bought HC in Tesco. Picked up TIC for free (can give to a friend). I wonder if these free copies count towards the chart?

TIC's sales are amazing although I am confused as to whether Music Club sales count towards the certifications?

I'm pretty certain the free copies won't chart, cos they have to be a minimum price for it to chart x

  2. Thanks. I guess it's just Madge who has all those single-week #1's. LOL I thought Leona sold more than that given all the hype.

Well before downloads, most of the songs did spend only one week at number 1, but since 2005 with impact of downloads tracks are spending londer at number one x

  3. CHART COMMENTARY from JAMES MASTERTON

''Nothing new to report at the top of the single chart this week. Madonna and Justin Timberlake go physical with '4 Minutes' and so remain locked at Number One for a second week. Two weeks at the top is something of a new experience for pubehead whose previous chart-topping singles 'Sexyback' and 'Give It To Me' could only manage a solitary seven days at the summit. Madonna will I'm sure have half an eye on the trend this year for long-running Number One hits. In her long career her biggest run to date has been four weeks, a total achieved by 'Into The Groove' in 1985 and 'Vogue' in 1990. Activities below however suggest she may have something of a fight on her hands to get beyond three this time around.''

  4. I don't follow the UK charts too closely but 2 weeks at #1 is rare over there, right? Is Leona's album almost done over there? How much has she sold? Bleeding Love must have tremendous sales, too.

2 weeks is not rare lol and Leona's album isn't over yet. and 'Spirt' is about 1.85 million, with 'Bleeding love' about 840k approx.

  5. On Uk i-tunes singles chart 4 mins is still number 1, but 'Wiley' has risen very fast to number 2,

On the i -tunes album chart, the 4 minutes remix album is at 14, Hard Candy is 31 and Confessions is at 81 x

On Amazon Uk, Hard Candy at 29, Portishead is at 3 x

  7. Someones review on Amazon UK, HC is up to 17 now x

(This person only gave it 1 star)! No Wonder HC still only has 3 stars when people put reviews like this lol

''This is just a review of the cover; Madonna, at your age, put it away missus. ''

This person also gave HC only 1 star!! and said:

''How can you write a review for an article that is only released in a couple of weeks time? Beats me ... It might be good. Or crap .. ''

    Soo stupids! x
