  1. Some more info posted at the madonnatribe forum by The Immaculate.

Do you mean a pole? from what I know there's one in the position where she did LAV during confessions (left if you look from the audience) and she climbs on it a bit during Into The Groove in between the jumpin ropes choreographies. I'm sure she will use it more in more songs LOL
  2. Candy Shop

    Beat Goes On

    Human Nature (With Britney Spears)

Borderline* (PLEASE don't let this be the rumoured "folk" version song.....)

    Vogue*

    Interlude 1

    Into The Groove

    Heartbeat :dramatic:

Music (Again) (Vs. Fedde Le Grand)

    She's Not Me

    Interlude 2

Devil Wouldn't Recognize You (M on piano)

    Spanish Lesson

    Miles Away

La Isla Bonita (Live Earth Version) (Again) :zombie:

    You Must Love Me :boring:

    Interlude 3

    4 Minutes

    Impressive Instant

    Ray Of Light (Again) :zombie:

    Hung Up ("Rock" Version) :zombie::zombie:

    Give It 2 Me

IMO the show needs a couple more BIG hits. Not fan favorites like Impressive Instant. Where are Open Your Heart, Who's That Girl and Like A Prayer?

  3. More from fanzine...i so wish this would be true..sounds really hot, especially the last part:

"ONE CONCEPT THAT DIDN'T MAKE IT TO THE CUT WAS HOW CHERISH WILL BE PRESENTED. Madonna wanted to dedicate this to Lourdes. |the concept was for Madonna to come out on Giant shell with merman and mermaid swimming as if they're underwater . the end will see a giant octopus wrap around Madonna as she makes an exit. it was supposed to be very colorful with sea creatures. the problem was they couldn't come up with other songs and other concept to do with the undersea theme. Madonna was 50-50. She felt that it's very disney-like . She was thinking for a while but had to shoot down the whole thing.

One concept that they're trying and is not 100% working is for vogue. The concept is for Madonna to have 10 costume changes for this song. Madonna will open with a simple corset-like. as she sings the chorus vogue Madonna will be dressed instantly and slowly the dress will unwrapped and will be dressed again to another costume. Some dancers will be partly hidden as they will be underneath the clothes. The end will see Madonna dressed in big skirt. I'm not sure if it's still gonna be mary antoinette style. Problem is that it's hard to have that costume changes in a just a few seconds. They haven't perfected it. they have also rearrange the song so that it'll synchronize with costume change. By the way the changes will happen on stage! I hope they will perfect this.

Madonna still is deadset in pursuing this Barbarella fantasy concept, she felt that some part/chapter is not working. Although it's not part of the show yet, but if some part will not work they're gonna use this concept. Concept is for JUstify, Fever, etc. This is going to be the sexiest part of the show. Madonna will open with a skin tighfitting cat suit, as some male dancers unzipped to reveal a barbarella inspired costume. The vibe is like some cheesy b movie sci fi movie. Her make up will very barbarella/catherine deneuve alike with hair extension or wig. For fever she wants 2 male dancers to be completely nude as they do a snake like dance. the two dancers will be be all over her body, I don't know how to explain this. Just imagine a snake wrapping around your legs or body. One idea came was for the lights to be tone down as not to expose their private parts. They haven't decided on this yet. But ithey're ok with the butt exposure. Another problem is Madonna doesn't feel singing fever for this tour.

that's all folks. I'll be back!!!"

    :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

    Yeah right! :manson:

  4. Posted at madonnamad.

Madonna is rehearsing the conversation with the audience: so far, it looks like:

"are you having a good time?"

    "put your hands together"

"I don't wanna see anybody sitting"

    "welcome to our show"

"i wanna see the whole world jumping"

    "I love you too"

and also, the moment she loses breath and fakes fainting on the floor (this is the toughest part, her acting is still so so on it.)

    :chuckle:

  5. Madonnatribe:

MadonnaTribe News has learned some info about the REAL and genuine setlist Madonna is rehearsing. The songs contained are a mixture of great classics, amazing new songs, some minor songs loved by fans and some great surprises.

Ok here we go!! Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour opens with Candy Shop (very similar to the promo tour version) followed by a version of Beat Goes On very similar to the album version. Both Pharrell Williams and Kanye West will appear on video during the song. The third song in the setlist is the first GREAT surprise. It's the one and only Human Nature, from Bedtime Stories (and we'll not be sorry!!). The song will be presented in an original and UNIQUE way, but that's a surprise we don't want to spoil for the moment. We're sure the inclusion of this song will make lots of people very happy.

Section two of the show includes Into The Groove :dramatic: , a great number where she will be jumping rope with a little sample of the song "Jump" thrown in as well, followed by Heartbeat. The Fedde Le Grande version of Music, (just like the promo tour version :electropop: ) and She's Not Me follow.

The following section will opens with the song Devil Would Recognize You, Madonna will sing it live and play the piano onstage HERSELF for the very first time! After that we go into Miles Away, just like the promo tour, and a joyful version Spanish Lesson. Her great classic from True Blue arrives next: It's La Isla Bonita  that will be presented in its "Live Earth incarnation", the Lela Pala Tute version!!! This third section is closed by one of the songs by Madonna that won an Oscar. It's the touching "You Must Love Me", the beautiful ballad from Evita, written by Tim Rice and Andrew Loydd Webber especially for Madonna in the film. This version is more or less very similar to its original form.

The closing section of the tour includes the promo tour version of 4 Minutes followed by one of the greatest surprises fans will adore: Impressive Instant from the "Music" album!! Ray of Light follows. It's basically the album version with some changes in the middle. The promo tour version of Hung Up is next. :electropop: The tour closes with the latest single from Hard Candy, Give It 2 Me .

But that's not all folks! Madonna is also doing a great classic for her first album and she's doing it for the first time since the Virgin Tour. It's "Borderline" that will be presented like it has never been heard before and don't forget to look out for the great tour videos that will be directed by Steven Klein, as previously reported by MadonnaTribe!!

  6. Just saw this posted at tribe.

Material Girl Leaves Doubters In The Dust For Biggest Tour Of 2008

Neither wind, nor rain, gas prices, nor the economy can slow down the momentum of Madonna fans who are turning out in record numbers all over the globe to scoop up tickets for the upcoming "Sticky & Sweet" Tour. Today, Live Nation confirmed that Mexico City's Foro Sol Stadium shows scheduled for November 29th and 30th sold more than 100,000 tickets in just three hours, resulting in back to back sellouts at the famed stadium.

Mexico City joins the growing list of sold out Madonna shows in Paris, Lisbon, New York, Zurich, Boston, Chicago, Denver, East Rutherford, NJ, Oakland, Las Vegas, Houston, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver all of which sold out within hours of going on sale.

To date Madonna has sold out 90% of the tickets available for her 42-date global tour, which kicks off in Cardiff, Wales on August 23rd.

With more than 70,000 tickets sold for the Sticky & Sweet Zurich Show at the Military Airfield Dubendorf on August 30th, Lisbon's 75,000 tickets sold and 50,000 tickets sold for her Vancouver dates and four Madison Square Garden shows sold out in New York City in addition to the nearby Izod Center in East Rutherford for a total of 65,000 New York area tickets sold, Madonna has sold more than 1 Million tickets thus far on her global tour.

Madonna, whose most recent CD 'HARD CANDY' debuted at Number One in over 30 countries, has made it her personal mission to challenge herself to top her previous tours. With rehearsals well under way for 'Sticky & Sweet,' Madonna and famed director and long-time collaborator Jamie King are creating an extraordinary never-before seen stage set, groundbreaking audio and eye popping visual effects. Madonna will be joined onstage with a new band and 18 dancers that reaffirm that this is a singular event that Madonna fans can not miss.

"With 'Sticky & Sweet,' Madonna is on track to break her own record as the top grossing female artist of all time," said Arthur Fogel, Live Nation's of Chairman of Global Music and CEO of Global Touring. "Her sales are extraordinary in every market she's playing and illustrate what an unparalleled live draw Madonna is for music fans all over the world."

  7. madonnatribe:

Another familiar face, Steven Klein, is back in the picture. He is taking part to the Sticky & Sweet tour preparations but apparenly this time he won't serve mainly as a photographer but as a video director. He will be directing two brand new videos for the backing screens.

As previously reported here, photographer Tom Munro is also on board and will meet with Madonna end of June to shoot some great new photos to be used on the Sticky & Sweet tourbook.

    :dramatic:

    madgelover24:

well there will be videos for the partial opening of heartbeat, voices, rescue me, and la isla bonita
  8. rc787n:

That second stage is not a stage its a Mix box, she is only having one stage and a catwalk but the end stage lifts upward. As of now this what is being built. Also the stage floor is one complete LED screen. with the whole back ground of the stage screens being also a huge LED screen. Some 25-30 foot tall screen. The stage is full of trap doors. the turntable stage is going to be used also.......as of so far this is what is built soif thiers slight changes dont beat me down. But just like Drowned world tour and Confessions when she did the arena reherrsals she did not like the stage set up and changed it. The Drowned wolrd stage she changed the stage color from Brown to Black and the front stage was supposed to be a semi circular attached stage that stuck out and as you can see it was a small one it was pushed back 12-15 feet. Hope you get it . hard to explain. The confessions tour was supposed to have the Side ramps connect at the end points to the center catwalk.....this she did not like either and had the ramps taken off which was left with the center stage and the side ones. also the mirrored edgeing on the stage was added last minute, it was sticky like wall paper stuff so their you go. all the info.

Sounds a lot like Kylie's stage.... look here and

  9. The Immaculate:

anyway I've been told supposedly the dancers already rehearsed with a boxing instructor, that's interesting

    and

About why Donna DeLory is not doing this tour:

Donna simply wasn't asked to join the tour - that's simply it

    :boxing:

    Another rumoured setlist from "fairuza":

ROBYN VOWS NEVER TO WORK WITH MADONNA

    2008-05-08 09:56:13

Movie & Entertainment News provided by World Entertainment News Network (www.wenn.com)

Swedish singer ROBYN has ruled out a possible duet with MADONNA - because she's more of a "celebrity" than a musician.

Robyn - real name Robin Carlsson - insists she wouldn't work with the Material Girl until she concentrates on her career rather than her status in the media spotlight.

The star, who borrowed the title of her newest track from Madonna's 1987 number one hit Who's That Girl, says, " I don't expect to work with her!

"Anyway, I don't collaborate with celebs, I work with musicians."

  11. Kat (madonnamad forum) who has been very reliable in the past

well i wasnt gonna say anything yet but I can confirm that

she's doing Vogue with a european house dance mix style

and confirming La isla bonita as well

    More info to come

    Kat about LIB

i said the exact thing to my friend

    and i quote

"LOL shut up...that woman loves that fucking song"

  12. Its not that bad, I mean we would get TLOL, PA, DYU, E, LIB, WTG and YS. But I doubt it is true. we always get the fake set list first.

M's gotta fill the setlist with some BIG BIG hits in order to keep people coming back in the future and pay the big money. Most people (not fans) don't know TLOF, PA, E, YS and knowing the Hard Candy sales they certainly don't know any of the HC album tracks. She's gotta put some more big hits in there; Like A Prayer, Vogue, Open Your Heart, Into The Groove, Holiday etc.

But I agree, the list is prob. fake.

  13. More from fanzine......

    preston;

Somebdy i know and is reliable sent me the setlist, precising me it's not 100% definitve and that some minor changes could be done but the main structure should be this :

    -Candy Shop

    -Heartbeat

    -Everybody

    -Beat goes on

-Interlude : Human nature (freemasons mix)

    -Miles Away

    -The look Of Love

    -Sorry

-Mash Up : Physical Attraction vs Genius Of Love (Tom tom Club) vs The

Message (Grandmaster Flash) (word is that this is a new grounbreaking

mash-up, even better than "music Inferno", think "Give it 2 Me" for the

kind of music, and will be one of this tour'

highlight moment - a kind of anthem)

    -Dress You Up

-Interlude : Beat Goes On (remix featuring only Pharell & Kanye, no M)

    -La Isla Bonita

    -Spanish Lesson

    -Who's That Girl

    -You'll See

    Interlude : Devil

    -Music

    -4 Minutes

    -Hung Up

    -Give It 2 Me

WORST setlist EVER - if true. :scared:

  14. update from madgelover24

the good thing about her working with jaime king is that he is TRYING VERY HARD to get M to sing some old hits. He is pushing her hard to sing Open Your Heart, Borderline (which they both gave up on, she cant do it and wont), Physical Attraction, Express Yourself, Vogue, Justify my Love, Rescue Me, full original version of Erotica, Bedtime Story, Take A Bow, Human Nature, and a few others. But she literally rolls her eyes at the idea of it.

Unfortunately (to me at least) something will be done from Dick Tracy I have been informed.

Oh and the divorce rumors may turn out to be actual truth. But dont look for a dragged out horrible divorce. They both care deeply for the kids and just want to end their marriage on good terms.

  15. ss.png

Found some things posted on fanzine. Who know if it's true or not, anyway.....

    AquaLA;

    major insider info:

    opening - candy shop

track 2 - beat goes on.

    Dress you up is in

    Everybody is in

    There is NO holiday.

She HATES "borderline" and will never sing that live.

She also HATES "Rain" and will never perform it but there may be a video/intermission to "Rain"during a costume change..

as always things change everyday with a M production.

P.S. Madonna refuses to ever perform Bedtime Story as well. who knew?!

    phillymonster;

Um, I have a source that said a slower, more folk version of "Borderline" is being considered. But as of last week, they have tested over 50 songs. "Beat Goes On" is in, as well as Miles Away and Give it To Me and "Spanish Lesson" is a definite NO.

    madgelover24;

My source told me somewhat similar things. Jaime wants her to perform borderline, but she is having trouble pulling it off vocally and does not want to lip it because its not a heavy dance track in which you can do strong choreography and have reason to lip sing it.

At this point Dress you up, is definite! Open your heart is IN CONSIDERATION and will be rehearsed, not sure if it will make the final show.

At this point she is doing vocal arrangements in London and dancers are rehearsing in NY, which she will join them around the 20th of June.

Beat Goes On is the second or third song being performed, this being becuase it WILL be her 3rd single (in America at least, word is Miles Away will be a single in Europe, while America gets Beat).

I cant say that Candy Shop is a definite go for the opening. HEARTBEAT is being strongly considered :dramatic: , will let you know for sure when I get final word.

***And to the one who locked my thread before, i have been 100% right about 4 out of the 5 things I told you, technically ALL 5. I said she WOULD be on TYRA and then told you it was canceled way before her appearance was going to be scheduled for***

Who's That Girl  might be worked into a section with Spanish Lesson and La Isla bonita  .

And I dont care about these designers coming out saying they will be designing clothes for m, THEY WILL NOT. She is using Gaultier again.

Incredible and Voices will NOT be performed.

    dont shoot the messenger

    madgelover24;

OH, and "Music" will again be on the damn setlist.

The final 4 songs will be Music, Hung Up, 4 minutes, and Give it 2 me. In no particular order.

vogue is in consideration actually, but I highly doubt it will fold over into the final setlist as she performed it in a recent tour.

rescue me was suggested and she found it laughable to even consider...why? I dunno, I think its a great choice.

Love profusion is a distinct possibility.
