And I dont know if this is any sign, but a silly crap fanmade video using footage from Nelly Furtados video is put to Madonna's 4 MIN, and the amount of views has been increasing by over 200,000 views everyday. Now its passed 1 million views. I wish the real video would come out already.

Had they let radio play the song after the original french radio lake and then still released the song yesterday for digital download along with the music video then Madonna would have a shot of hitting #1 on billboard and blocking MOOriah.
God that would have been amazing, but if you ask me, hard sales is what matters, and if Madonna sells more....Well then like I said. Screw Mariah. Who knows. Maybe Madonna will still sell enough to block Mariah from #1! (wishful thinking, but a guy can dream

I heard 4 MIN on SoJo 104.9 todayl Thats a big station and the first time I heard it on there. I have yet to hear it on Q102 but someone here reported that they heard it.
Also before it came on Z100 this afternoon a female DJ said that Madonna has another thing to add to her Grammy and being inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame from this year, and she went on to say that her album "Hard Candy" is still a month away, but that presales are through the roof.

nope, if those OPHouse party stations just played it this saturday and stopped playing it since then they will be taken off the number of stations by next saturday... it's the 7-day thing... those 3 stations off the POP count are the ones who played it last monday and haven't played it since
Are you sure? How come it says from yesterdays amount of stations then? Where is Bad Robot to clear this up?

I am guessing that the reason the number of stations playing it dropped is because the stations that dropped off only played it because of Open House Party?

In 2003, everyone predicted DAD would open big like 80K or more but at the end, only 20K+ sold.
Well that was a pretty absurd prediction considering the singles market was dead at that time a itunes was not around.

Im not chart expert, but I think a top 5 for Madonna is in the bag. I dont know why but I really have this gut feeling that the first week of downloads is going to be alot more than what people in here have been predicting.

Come on now. Its going to do WAY bigger business then 200K. Even AL opened bigger then that. I will predict somewhere in the 400k range. Thats my guess and I am sticking to it!
