  1. I think you're 100% correct. What makes it even worse is that they clearly knew it was going to be cancelled WEEKS ago and still, they couldn't come up with a better plan. Look at the Italian TV interview from weeks ago when Madonna was asked about going to Australian and New Zealand. See her change of face and her reaction at 1.56. Even more to the point, check out her expression at 2.12 when Madonna realises she's deflected that line of questioning and the interviewer has moved on. :rotfl: Clearly, she knew back then that the tour wasn't going ahead.

You know what! I noticed that too before this all began!

  2. Ummm... after a little google news investigation, I can't really find any official words or quotes from anyone regarding this cancellation.

Are you sure this is real, Aussie??

I mean only some Aussie news outlets posted the news but did not referred to any formal sources at all...

It's just hard to fathom the idea that she added a new & surprising show in Paris and yet cancelled the Aussie ones on the same day....

  3. Based on Gaga's boxscores, is it worth it for Madonna?

She did 3 shows in Tokyo and got away with $18M and $43M overall for Asian leg ... It should be even more for M if, of course, she has time.

  4. Despite what had happened (since the day BTW leaked till the reductive interview) she did virtually nothing and we all wondered what she thought about it.

So now it's time for her to express herself (and might as well make some $$$), I'd say bring it on!

and it's back to wondering what GaGa is thinking again.

The ultimate dare is to tell the truth!

  5. It would be great if she could do Asia too. She might as well. But don't think it will be this year...probably next.

It's evident that her shows have done best business in places where she's never visited or been long absent (i.e., Columbia, Turkey, Quebec for this tour or those sold out dates in south america for S&S). I bet if she visits asian cities, among most affluent in the world now, such as Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Seoul plus some japan & Australia cities, they would be instant sold-outs too.

I'd love the "born this way" part despite some concerns here. It'd definitely get the extra buzz.

Didn't Gaga herself claim Madge personally blessed/approved of this song? So, let see how she & her fans would react.

  7. half assed campaigh???? She is working her a#s off to deliver the tour of her life and at the same time is trying to create some balance to allow herself to spend time with her family which makes perfect sense and is the right thing to do......SHE'S BEEN THERE DONE THAT AND HAS NOTHING TO PROVE TO ANYONE.. The album is killer and the tour will be another Madonna extravaganza...sold out or not.

Could care less what other MUCH YOUNGER artists are doing or achieving ...and frankly am tired of the unfair comparisons and expectations..the odds are they wont have half the career she continues to have...

Be grateful that after 30 years she still is giving us great music and has the energy and drive to embark on what could be the biggest tour of her career .

Chill out, Relax and enjoy the rare gift and talent that is Madonna while we still have her ..She has taken us on a tremendous journey so far that I truly hope will continue for many years to come. Hope she knows how much she is appreciated....

Just saw clips from BTW ball and that made me even more proud of our girl!
