Hmmm, interesting way of putting it...
I actually have stopped listening to it because I don't want the magic of it to wear off too quickly. I want to hear it with fresh ears in the context of the album.

Here, on the radio, GI2M is played more often than 4M. Hell, even Celebration (
) is played more often than 4M. Her second singles seem to be better received in Europe. In a fairer world, GI2M and GGW would be huge worldwide hits.

My fav (and the best) song is Devil Pray.
Don't really care which songs are released as singles, so I'll go with LFL - people here seem to really like it and it sounds like a song non-fans might actually like too. Of all 6 I think it has the broadest appeal and the best chance of becoming a hit.

I would have liked it better if there was no title on it (a la True Blue) but even so, beautiful album cover. Easily one of her best.

I agree with him about how the mood of the recording sessions translates to the album sound. So true. It seems like they had a lot of fun making COADF. I wish there was a documentary about this.

Anything she lacks music video visuals-wise she makes up for with the visuals of the tour (see NKM from MDNA) -- where the $$$ is. When she was making her best music videos she didn't have the backdrops she does now, and since DWT there's been that shift. Record companies are decreasing and decreasing budgets for MVs anyway, who buys them?
What Madonna does better than anyone else is photo spreads, there's no one who compares and it is excellent promo on top of marking the image of an era and giving everyone a new avatar.
Remember Interview 2010 coming out of nowhere and the internet was on fire. It was fantastic. She's really good at it and it's more in her element I'm sure than being interviewed by some Dutch guy asking her what Mercy thinks of the Sex book.

I know more hit singles from Enya than from KISS.
And isn't this "artist" the same person who a few years ago praised Joanne WHILE dissing Madonna? I wonder what happened cause surely Joanne not being famous anymore has absolutely nothing to do with his change of mind...

If someone put a gun to my head and told me to choose only one favorite song from Madonna, I'd probably say Bedtime Story.
This song, to me, is perfect. Wouldn't change anything about it. It's so unique and so different not only from other Madonna songs, but from other artists' songs it's a shame it isn't more well known.
And 2 of my favorite artists worked on this song so that makes it even more special to me.
20 years later and it still sounds better, more innovative and fresher than most of the music released recently.
