I guess they were too busy going the extra mile with, like, HOLOGRAMS and shit....

Does it really recycle lyrics from Don’t Tell Me? I was kind of hoping she might take a break from that for this album.

This sounds like a bop and a half!

I hope it’s steamy and throbbing

Yeah. I'm getting Rebel Heart Part 2 vibes so far and I hope I'm wrong about that. As much as I liked Rebel Heart, I didn't expect her to repeat herself again.
I honestly think that’s because we’re getting more exposure to the starrah/mike dean side of things vs the mirwais so it feels a little out of balance with the expectations that were set for the album. And that’s the double-edged sword of pre-releasing album tracks out of the context of the broader album. It can throw people off unnecessarily. IMO just releasing Medellín and Crave in advance of June 14th would’ve been better, which is why I’m not listening to anything else. I’ll hear the rest for the first time as part of the album.

I wasn’t going to listen to anything but Medellín (and Soltera) before the album came out but since I had a super shitty week personally and professionally and this is an actual single release I caved and allowed myself to listen. I literally started weeping while trying to get ready for work when I heard it. Beautiful song.

These remixes fucking suck. I’ve enjoyed some of Offer’s mixes in the past but these are just putrid, half-assed drivel...

If it’s true that the tour is being announced tomorrow morning then she should ABSOLUTELY get dolled up and walk the met gala red carpet tomorrow night. Quick and easy promotion that will reinforce the tour and album.

Not listening until June 14...
God give me the strength, I’m gonna do the same. I need Soltera NOW to distract me from all this though ..:

We are being blessed with an embarrassment of riches this era! Now this I will listen to while I wait for June 14th and will make it easier to save the other pre-release songs from madame x until then. Will we get more featurings in the fall when mirwais releases his new album too?

The insider was wrong about the release, but maybe they thought to put out Medellin to get more attention.
Or maybe this “journalist” is doing what people have been doing here for the past year and a half: piecing together various rumours, speculation and half-truths to create something that amounts to #fakenews and then reporting on it like it’s fact.

I agree. It completely ruins the experience. Before Dido released her album “Still On My Mind”, she released a random song each week. Of course I jumped unto those songs, listening the crap out of them. But when the album released in full, I was confused about the vibe. Some songs were completely new, while others were not. It was weird trying to accept the album as “new”, when it half already felt old. It also messed with the order of the songs my brain got used to. It’s hard to explain but bottom line, I’m never doing that again. I’ll wait till the album is released in full before listening to any more songs. The only one more song I will listen to is the one M will perform at Eurovision.
Good strategy, I think I’ll go with this too. Unless she performs it live or there’s a music video that’s out there being promoted I’m not going to listen to anything more until June 14th

His last album debuted with 99k in its first week. And has sold 215k total. Rebel Heart did more first week and has sold more total. If she does tour bundles she should be ok.
Exactly. Did Madonna release a new album the same day that any of his previous four albums were released and hit number 1? Nope. Next...

It's very fake
Yeah total fake... As if she’d have the songwriters listed for each song on the back cover?!

oops, that what it looked like in the still! Just watched the video.
Way to ruin a sexy little moment with the mental picture of a big fat whitehead on the top of his tongue!

Future has a Jamacian dancehall vibe, so think Unapogetic Bitch or Beyonce's Hold Up, both produced by Diplo.
Also Mirwais reworked both Back That Up & Faz Gostoso. He produced around 10 tracks on the album.
Where is this information about mirwais coming from?

That’s the pink rosé and lemon drop song isn’t?
What if the Diplo song is also from the RH sessions?
It sure is! As much as I enjoyed the demo and am curious to hear what the “finished product” sounds like, I kinda wish she would’ve left that project in the past and stuck to the new stuff she’s created since then.

I think it’s the “sipping my pain like it’s champagne” line I’ve seen called out the most which, i must confess, I did cringe at the first time I heard it as well. It is clunky. Now it’s like whatever...

Billboard is rumoured to have produced this track.
I’m kind of assuming that the starrah tracks were all produced by billboard, which is definitely intriguing, but I’m still hoping that mirwais had his hand in a few as well

Not digging the eyepatch with this outfit, just seems out of place...otherwise perfection. Love that the blonde braids are back
