No one knows. Someone posted an old photograph from the beginning of March that was on her instagram demonstrating she was in the same studio in LA that maluma is currently in and they’ve gone stirred up yet another mess of confusion where fact is blended with fiction ... and now here we are with people thinking Lauren is currently acting as vocal producer in the studio in LA with maluma for a featuring on Madonna’s new album...

I mean it makes sense she wouldn’t want to talk too much about the details of the music until everything was completed and finalized in case things changed along the way and didn’t end up making the final cut.

I mean, if someone had never heard Like A Prayer in their life and only heard a 20 second snippet from the Met Gala performance do we really think that would give them a sense of what the actual album version sounds like other than the lyrics and the melody? Prolly not, no...so I very highly doubt the Met performance of a 20 second snippet during a highly stylized performance has anything to do with what’s gone on in the studio since.

not to mention, I think it’s pretty safe to assume the arrangement of the song for that particular 20 second performance probably has very little to do with what the studio version sounds like other than the lyrics and melody

Well champagne rosé is also not a Madonna track, so the comparison to all of those situations and the likelihood of the new album sounding like a Quavo song is even less relevant...

I mean listen to them, who cares?! It’s not exactly deep songwriting. Just enjoy it...or don’t, if that’s your prerogative.

Amen! This is Quavo’s album not Madonna’s, why on earth people think this has anything to do with the sound of HER new album is beyond me...and exactly as you say, her featuring on this is a fun way to hear her in a different style of music without having this be the sound of her own.

There’s always going to be .... something or someone. Sis just needs to release and do her thing on her terms. It’s not like people are choosing where and who to spend there limited purchasing dollars on anymore with streaming. If people are interested, they will listen.
