I want another cynthia mcfadden interview. they always have good chemistry.
Yes!! She used to do these primetime sit down interviews far more regularly and I’m always wishing she would do them again. they duly remind people just how intelligent, articulate and thoughtful she is. The perfect antidote to all the stupid “assgate” and “arethagate” type nonsense that the general public hears about more than anything else these last years...

I dont think anyone is denying that Music was helped at least a little by ROL but to say that it only was a hit because of ROL is wrong. Every album that comes out is helped by the album before it for every artist. Just because you dont like Music or Mirwais doesnt mean that their musix together is bad and wouldnt smash on its own.
I mean Hung Up was a hit and it came off of American Life. Music is just as good as Hung Up in my opinion. I always think about how Music is the song she needs nowadays. Its fun yet mature. Something her fun songs this past decade have been missing is "maturity" imo of course.
Yes...All of this!

Well, it could be the fact that I was never a big fan of Music the song. It was a huge let down for me. Generally I think I m good at sensing what a hit on M album is. Never liked Music much. But I knew ROL the album, TAB, COADF the album, HU would be hits for her and that GMAYL/LFL won't. But I could be wrong here. Seems like lots of ppl like Music the song... I always felt it smashed, because it came after her best album.
I believe it smashed because it’s a fucking brilliantly produced, sophisticated pop song that sounded like absolutely nothing else

This thread is a total mess and begging for negativity by design....enjoy wallowing in it, bitches.

I typically find pride performances to be a bit tacky and best left to the Deborah Cox’s of the world but I think this would actually be a great opportunity for Madonna to support her album and remind the gays both young and old who the one and only queen is. There are sadly too many out there that need to be reminded.

You can sing a whole song in minutes.:..Madonna literally just phoned in a collab from her bathroom floor, why do we think anitta needs to be in a studio for multiple days to do this?
-
It was mentioned, with the supposed anitta collab being one of them
-
I’d rather she collab with Rupaul

You don’t mix and master an album and then go add more vocals to it after the fact. Either 1. there is no collaboration and they just “ran into” each other as Madonna said, 2. it’s for a remix of a song/single or 3. it’s for something that has nothing to do with Madonna’s album...
-
If I was collaborating with someone I wouldn’t say I “ran into” that person, as it clearly would be a planned meeting not an accidental or casual one. I think people are putting the cart before the horse here. As per usual, NOTHING has been confirmed.
Anitta Bonita Funana Batuka Bo'nina Abdulla Maluma Madonna Ciccone MAGIC.

Exactly, which is what primetime interviews with people like Cynthia McFadden and others like Barbra Walters in the past were like. I’m not talking about late night interviews or fluff pieces with Ellen...
