I also like Give It 2 Me, its simple but cool. Celebration is one of her all time worst.

Flop fans, critics, the media have been saying the same things about Madonna in EVERY ERA. Try and keep up.
I dont recall anyone saying she looked embarrassing during the ray of light or music eras, but please continue your blind fandom

Who are these people in general? Were they the ones who didn't made it a top 10 album of the year? Were they the ones who didn't made the S&S tour the highest grossing solo tour ever?
People complained about her leotard during the Confessions era, and that wasn't a flop either.
for fuck sake im NOT saying the album and era was a FLOP im just saying the some of the media, alot of fans, music listeners, many critics all agreed her parading around with timberlake and pharrell was desperate. Please dont say you didnt see that, because if you do I think you are lying. and yes I know the album sold well and yes I know her tour is the highest grossing tour of all time blah blah..

I dont mean it was a flop era, far from it and I think they made some great songs but in general people found Madonna parading around with her clunge hanging out whilst gyrating with timberfake offputting and dont deny that.

Whilst I think Hard Candy had some brilliant pop songs on it I do think it damaged her career what with all the timberfake, hip hop association. She will recover though as long as she goes back to what she does best discovering something or someone new and underground and creating something interesting.

god, im sooo glad the Westlife will NOT be #1 this Sunday !!! Surprised more people here havent been thrilled by that. Theyre awful is every possible way, and they have only dissed Madonna over the years. Theres just nothing redeeming about them.

well actually, i've changed my mind. it isn't actually a side note as it totally relates to this UK charts thread, as it is an article about the fact his death has increased his record sales in a major way, so is perhaps a sign that yet more rubbish released from his team will zoom up the charts after some promo last night (something about a premiere of some film).

I just highly doubt Madonna releasing an album (greatest hits or not) wouldn't want it to sell well. lets be honest here. I dont actually think it is flopping AT ALL its just that the lazy slag could at least do a bit of promotion

I really think the SEX book and that whole era really solidified her legendary status. NO POP STAR had gone that far before and I seriously doubt anyone ever will. Although I can kinda see Lady GaGa doing something similar but anyway.
I agree nobody before her (a mainstream pop star) had ever gone that far and never will. lets pray to god gaga doesnt get her sagging cow tits and flabby clunge out for all to see.
