I really like her 2012 look. Her face filled out and she has that "Madonna" face. Not the skinny, puffy cheek face that she had in 2008. She looked like she really appreciated being there and she looks as if she put all that negativity from '08-'09 behind her. Now we must suffer till opening night of the new tour LOL!! We haven't seen or heard this much hooplah for Madonna in years!!! THANK YOU LIVE NATION AND ALL THOSE IN MADONNA'S CAMP!!!!

Really? But you know with today's technology they filter and enhance her voice on her tours. The only one that sounded mimed was GMAYL. Apparently Stuart Price and Orbit did the mixes for this performance. VOGUE again did it for me. Chills down my spine again!!!! Vogue is always a great opener! Very dramatic with the visuals, choreography and added sound effects!!!!

After watching the HQ Youtube vid it sounds like it was all sung LIVE but with effects and enhancements. GMAYL was prob the only one mimed but of course people will hate!

We all thought it was great!! VOGUE had a RIT feel to it which is my absolute favorite Vogue performance. Chills went down my back when she started singing Vogue and it didnot sound like playback. I even thought the LMFAO insert was good. I was kinda looking forward to the rumored ROL performance. GMAYL was OK for what it was. LAP got us misty eyed as always LOL. I would have fell out if Express Yourself woulda played out with Cee-Lo. WELL DONE!! WELL DONE!!!!
p.s. Did anyone else think she looked kinda nervous at the opening of vogue?

I really liked the video and the song is starting to grow on me. The best part for me was near the end when they're wearing the throwback Madonna wigs and lace dresses. She looked not a day older from when she recorded the video for Express Yourself and Vogue. She looked really good too. WAYYY better than her look for HC. Cant wait for the tour!

I wonder if we will be getting a LIVE band or playback. Also if there will be backing vocalists. It would be nice if Donna Delory was on stage especially during Ray of Light.

Since the RIT I never get my Madonna tickets from the initial public sale. It's a waste of time! I get amazing seats much later on.
That's true! I remember calling Ticketmaster a week before the DWT for the Meadowlands shows and I ended up with 2 floor seats near the middle and @ $125 a piece. Now those seats are in the 300's or higher!

I could almost imagine Cee Lo singing the Nikki part of "Like a Prayer". This should be very interesting if this is indeed true.

Isn't the sound from the superbowl broadcast usually kinda shit?
Yeah for the most part. You could barely hear The Black Eye Peas and this is a "Live" performance, not a DVD release of one of her tours, so I wouldn't be surprised if her voice isn't up to par. I actually look forward to an unpolished vocal performance. Probably some playback and vocal effects will be thrown in but thats okay.

"U and Ur Hand" revitalized Pink's album, and then the label re-released "Who Knew." It really wasn't one performance that reignited the album.
"Celebration" couldn't rechart on the Hot 100, anyhow, as it's an "old" song- only if repromoted or something (which is not going to happen). Still hoping that "Holiday' is one of the songs performed.
Yes I would enjoy Holiday and so would many of the casual US fans. If she were to do Vogue would it be an S&S version or a totally new version. I can't imagine it being an RT type of performance!

I wish we would get Express Yourself or Into the Groove. Non mashup though! Other than that no matter what she performs people will still leave unsatisfied. Whether at the Superbowl or at home. I hope she has a live presentation of her upcoming tour on HBO the way she did in the 90's and with DWT.

Agreed I just hate the idea of having to trek out to the Meadowlands like for DWT. MSG shows were sold out and I was able to get the last two pair of floor seats at the Izod Center (formerly Continental Airlines Arena) Unless she does MetLife Stadium but I would rather do the MSG arena.

Some on M Tribe has come up with a list of why the list of tour dates could be fake
1. In this state of European economy they are scheduling Athens Olympic Stadium?? Hard to believe.
2. Two shows at Hyde Park and additional one in Wembley??
3. Only one arena show in Berlin? (no room for additional dates)
4. Only 3 MSG shows in NY + one in East Rutherford? (no room for additional dates in NY)
5. Only two dates in LA + one in Anaheim (no room for additional LA dates)
6. All arena shows in the US, with exception of two stadium gigs in St. Louis and Indianapolis??? If she was to do stadiums in America again, my guess is that she'd normally go after traditionally safe markets, such as LA, San Francisco or Miami.
7. Only one arena show in Manila, despite all the other Asian dates being stadiums and the huge economic interest to bring Madonna to those markets for the first time. Even some lower-profile performers managed to sell out 50.000 + crowds in Manila, so I can't see the logic behind her performing in a 15.000 seat arena there and bringing all that huge and expensive production to Philippines for just one arena show.
8. No break between legs. No way she's ever gonna pull out a 7-months tour without a break.
There's that nagging question of whether or not MSG@NYC is open while they are renovating the arena for phase 2. They still have to redo the top stands. Something to do with creating better sight lines. I cant seem to find the timeline for phase 2 and 3 of the construction. I agree that this is questionable. She could try to book Yankee Stadium, Citi Field or Met Life Stadium and easily sell out those venues.

I like the rumored setlist. ROL oh well but it's something the casual fan would recognize. Vogue
except no mashup maybe a reinvention and Holiday I woulda liked Get Together. It was one of my favorites from the Confessions Tour. Music oh well to that too. If this is a preview of the up coming tour this is the way to get people wanting more. -
i loved the RIT Holiday too. I'm one of the few who thought the Girlie Show version was a bit retarted. Loved Holiday in Virgin Tour and BA as well. Why did someone say it was bad in S&S?? didnt remember Holiday being performed since RIT??
I could never get tired of Holiday. Even the 2009 S&S version grew on me.

reports have her in the US for aug and sep. are you sure msg is closing and do you know for what dates?
MSG reps have stated that the "upper Bowl" is to be completed in time for the 2012-2013 NBA and NHL season and the WNBA NY Liberty have to play their games at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Basically they close MSG after the last regular season NBA/ NHL game or final playoff games if the season goes on longer. The NBA Knicks were done early and within a week of the end of the regular season the started tearing out the lower bowl seats. I was hoping she would hit New York after October so she could perform at Madison Square Garden. I hope I'm wrong and the arena is open but they're talking about three summers until 100% complete. This past summer was summer number one.

Yes what stands out is only one NYC date which is the Metlife Stadium. The only thing that would give some truth to this is that date. Summer of 2012 Madison Square Garden in New York City is slated for phase 2 of renovations so there would be no concerts or any events held there. They could do Yankee Stadium or Citi Field.
