  1. I think the musical director of each tour (Stuart Prince on DWT, RIT, CT Kevin Antunes on S&S) is in charge of that.

I remember reading he wouldn't be involved with this one and I hope it's true too. His style has become the industry norm after he directed the tours of everyone from the Spice Girls to Celine fucking Dion and I wish Madonna would change it up.

Yes it has! The two or three large backing screens that move up or down and side to side are last decade  I would love to see her go back to a more theatrical (props) type of show. DWT seemed to be the last of that type for her.

As said in an earlier post, I do remember reading that Jamie King was doing the J Lo/ Marc Anthony show and I was like "YES! Maybe there's a chance he wont be on the Madonna tour for 2012!"

  2. I doubt we'll see the return of Donna and Niki. I said this ages ago and people refused to believe me but i'll say it again Donna is gone because she was asked to do the hard candy promo shows and Donna said she couldn't make it to the first rehearsal b/c she had some yoga event going on so Madonna said bye to her just like that. I don't know if they still have a personal relationship but i do know Madonna and Niki still talk. It would be nice to see them all reunited on stage together one day.

She was pregnant at the time and she also admitted that in an interview that she was pregnant. Can't see her doing both legs of the Sticky n Sweet Tour while pregnant. As far as that Kiley Dean she was useless and most of the time Nikki Richards drowned her out.

Close up of the pit and stage plans.

It looks like they included the band stands on this stage plan. It looks like at the ends will be the keyboards. Then it looks like the drummer near the middle, but there's another figure that looks like it could be a percussionist? It's the figures that appear on the plan as being behind the main stage as if it will be raised from the main dance floor. I wonder where the backing vocalists will be placed on the stage. This appears to be something different from the typical Jamie King setup.

    The band members

    Ric'key Pageot - Keyboards

    Monte Pittman - Guitar

    Brian Frasier-Moore - Drums

Kevin Antunes - MD / Keyboards

Backing Vocals (Not in the photo)

    Nicki Richards

    Kiley Dean

Are the backing vocalists confirmed? As far as Donna DeLory it looks as if her Madonna mega tour days are behind her unfortunately. I really enjoyed her on those past Madonna Tours. Kiley Dean wasn't that great and Nicki drowned her out anyway.

  5. Any word if Donna DeLory will be joining the band this go around? Nikki Richards hinted on her twitter a few weeks ago to a friend to check "the tour schedule" when asked when she would be returning to LA.

  6. Do you guys watch the leaked videos of the tour before going to the show yourself. I always did but I'm questioning if I should just hold my breath this year and be surprised. That would also probably mean, not going into a lot of threads that would be discussing the setlist and outfits and performance videos which would suck while I wait...what do you guys normally do?

I usually do since i don't plan on attending this tour I will usually watch the professional snippets from local news outlets. The set list usually spoils it for me anyway

  7. Debating on whether or not i should get tickets to Yankee Stadium. My gut tells me they will add another NYC date after Feb 13 when they sell the stadium out. She usually does 4-6 shows at MSG so we should expect at least another stadium date. We also run the risk of rain whereas with any arena we're protected. And not to be a downer but September is near the height of hurricane season :scared: ! Let me not jinx it! Lets enjoy LOL :vogue:

  8. Nothing from HC and no more Music!! If she's to do La Isla then it should be more towards the original because the last two times it was awful! ROL not really unless it's sung in some kind of ballad to surprise people but not really. At this point I'm lowering expectations so when the setlist leaks it might be a surprise! I do feel like this tour will be more fun and positive than the S&S. She seems more happier these days and this albumn is set to do very well!!

  9. The Yankee Stadium arrangement must have something to do with the Madison Square Garden rehab. Yankee Stadium is closer to Midtown Manhattan than lets say Citi Field (Shea Stadium) or the godforsaken Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands. I should go to my grandfathers house that night and listen from his window LOL he lives right up the hill from the stadium. Maybe there will be one or two MSG shows come Fall.
