well then, if it's bitter at the start, then it's sweeter in the end
-
im on the east coast and it aint free, its 12:40 already
-
i dunno if i wanna shelve out 30 bucks for this. does this include the original version of frozen, or the stereo-mc mix??
-
U.S. version is the benassi and its not free as well...UM!
Yeah, i want my fucking money back. Where did the information first surface about it being free????

I actually really really really really love this video!!!
Some of her simplest videos are her best videos.
This is in my top 10, no joke.
It's a sexy video, with lots of great dancing.
And Madonna is smoking hot in the video.
I like the quick editing, works well with the mix.
But the video is wayyyyyyy tooooooo short!!!!??!!!!!!!?!!!? Why? Just no need.
And the fansites are need of an explanation. It's missing much information that they said was going to be in the video. They never did mention in the first place that Lola would be dancing with the dancers, doing mommy like back flips.
No Paul O, No Wedding Dress, No Fans, No 5 minute music video. Ugg, keep yo mouths shut sluts, or just get a job at a convent instead.

Is that the cover for the digitial release, or just a new one all together??
-
can we get a lock on this thread, i'll swallow the key.

yyyyyuuuuummmmyyyyy that kissing clip is lovely 10 years since Madonna hasn't had a kiss in a video
Wasnt there one in Hollywood??
-
Stupid? What do you care, the second version is probably going to be released only on madonna, com or something for the fans.
Well then what do YOU care???
It's stupid to go ahead and film something, when it ends up not being in the official video, which will prob be an ICON-only exclusive.

It looks like we'll be having both edits of the "Celebration" video released, with the second one joining the one that will premiere tomorrow in a couple of weeks.
According to Warner Music, the "Celebration" video directed by Jonas Akerlund that we'll be watching tomorrow is the one filmed in Milan, Italy which features Madonna dancing with her amazing troupe of performers from her current "Sticky & Sweet" Tour and cameo appearances by Lola and Jesus Luz.
In a couple of weeks another edit of the video will be made available, Warners announced today, and this second one bwill be the one which includes scenes shot with the fans alone.
As you remember from our exclusive reports, Akerlund has been working on a couple of different edits of the music video - one using the fan loved poppy Album Version of the song and another edited to the Benni Benassi remix.
sooo stupid

Will it be up midnight tonight??
-
Will the iTunes album pre-order and video "hype" give the "Celebration" single a new lease on chart life? Stay tuned...
Is this a quote from Action News or Entertainment Tonight? Certainly sounds like it

looks like i'll shelve out some money for this digital release. I just LOVE those korny outtakes that get released.

Yeah, thanks... I knew it was either there or Drowned Madonna. Couldn't remember which. (They so often interview the same people, it seems...)
I just looked at Erotica (album) and Tony got writing credit on Deeper & Deeper. (Is THAT why it didn't make it onto CELEBRATION? Haha!)
So, I guess he's saying that when Shep asked him that, Shep was conveying that his (Tony's) work was only worthy of one writing credit, when he really should have been able to get writing credit on all of the songs he worked on? But I think he said he didn't know enough at the time to know what he really deserved in the way of credit. That is a shame.
But he chose wisely in choosing "Deeper & Deeper." (imo... Not that the others are bad, I think that's just the one I would have picked, too.)
I would of thought he'd go with Why's It So Hard, since he lends his vocals on that track

Very nice to allow a free download!!!
Ofcourse im downloading it!!!

I think there's an interview out there with Tony Shimkin who has nothing but good things to say about Madonna (except that she's a little impatient -- and he even had to tell her to go eat some popcorn until he finished something, but she respected him after that). However, he indicated that he perhaps should have gotten some writing credit on some Erotica tracks, but he wasn't given any. And he says it wasn't Madonna's fault, but someone else's (though he refuses to say who? -- I guess Shep? I'm not sure.). So -- maybe I'm wrong, maybe Madonna isn't exactly overly generous with the writing credits. But that's my general impression.
This is from a Mtribe interview. I remember him saying how Shep asked him what track he would like to receive a writing credit for.

Triggering is pretty rad!
-
thats because to the general public- M was viewed as being anti-american. Once the backlash from american life started there was nothing she could do but to go away for a while that could fix the situation.
Well the performance was not all about Madonna, which is what she wanted.
Originally, she was going to perform Nobody Knows Me, which is why the AvidDiva video was made, cause that video was going to play in the background.

This get's brought up EVERY year
2004: "Oh, MTV contacted Madonna, they'll be doing a telecast of one of Madonna's performances."
2006: "The show is back in NY, Lenny is also in Paris and will be performing I Love New York with M, so they have to do a telecast, just have to!"
2007: "Since Timbaland is the maestro of the show, it would be perfect to premiere the new single!"
2008: "She's performing on the same night, MTV could air Beat Goes on!."

Wait, I'm confused. You like this one better, or the real one?
I think the final has loads of effort put into it. This one just looks like it was done in an afternoon on a PC.
oh totally, the alternate has no feeling, no meaning. its just, bluoae
the original, the one released, beautiful

And to talk over the complaining, its a surprise to see that many videos being released. Im excited.
-
Maybe because it's already on the Evita dvd (region 2), like This Used To Be My Playground.
As for Dress You Up, it's from the Virgin Tour so not big deal.
It is a pretty big deal, it includes before concert footage not seen in the VHS release. PLUS, most of all, it uses all different angles/footage from the concert.
its a big deal

So whoever said the video was taking place in a club, was obviously wrong
let's see what else is on the list:
-takes place in a club
-lola wears LAV wedding dress
-Jesus plays DJ
-Madonna undresses Jesus
