  1. How accurate is Madonna when it comes to her concert schedule? I mean in terms of moving around dates, cancellation, etc.

I've never seen her live before, and I'm thinking of flying all the way from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi (perhaps the nearest) to see her. Asking about the accuracy in her dates as I'll need to plan my work leaves, duration of days to stay, flights, etc.

She has a near perfect track record and you should be fine for Abu Dhabi as that is a high profile show that should sell out right away. She cancelled a few dates last summer in Europe in smaller markets due to low ticket sales.

  2. Do we know what the stage will look like? People keep going on about cat walks etc but the Hyde Park stage was just flat. Has anything been confirmed yet?

This is what Madonna Tribe posted:

The ticket master maps don't really mean anything, they were shown as a regular rectangular stage for Sticky and Sweet as well.

  3. Got my tickets! I'm a little annoyed though. When I clicked the "Best Available" option, I got seats that are front row, second level. I assumed floor seats were gone. However, I manually looked for floor seats later, they were available???? WTF??? Ticketmaster screwed me over!

That's why I never look back once I get my tickets! Ticketmaster fucks with everybody!

You'll have a great view though!

  4. I got floor seats row 25 for Vancouver... hopefully they are alright with the catwalk and everything! I wanted to get the VIP package but they should let you know what seat your gonna get!

  5. I'm looking to buy a single ticket for the Vancouver show... do you guys think I should invest my time with all the fan club business or just go through the general sale? I lucked out last time when I saw the show in London and got front row through the general sale... I dunno :(

  6. I don't think anyone should feel bad for Madonna though, she will still always sell "ok" numbers and her concerts are always going to sell out, she just will never be on the pulse of the industry like she was in 1990. At least she's established as someone that will always pull them in onstage, you can't say that about Mariah or Janet, who are pretty much fucked nowadays that radio no longer cares.

I am still suprised Janet wasn't able to attract bigger audiences with her last tour. Her last couple albums underperformed, but usually people will still come to hear the classics. It'll be interesting to see how her next tour shapes up.

  7. I don't know....maybe it's just wishful thinking. But, I still think we will see a Spring 2011 album release ("March" most likely like past albums) with a follow up Summer tour right afterwards. I would think Live Nation would be really pushing for her to tour in 2011.

That's what I'm hoping for! It's been pretty boring news wise for Madonna since last August when her tour ended, I wish the album was coming out this fall...

  8. Confessions Tour ?? no way ,, that DVD makes me sick to my stomach with the 10,000 camera angles - zoom in , out , side .side, in , out ,,,

I played the Virgin tour until the VHS tape wore down and my VCR ate it, LOL

I know, it is a bit much. When I saw her last summer the stage seemed so small, in the Confessions DVD they make it seem gigantic. I wonder if Truth or Dare will be re-issued again...
