Right??? Like he has no correlation with that song lmao
I think it was some fans who wanted a best night remix feat. Drake but that would never happen
M and Drake were flirting on instagram for a while and she did quote Best Night if I'm not mistaken.

BS, it's incredibly sensual yet vulnerable. COADF version would've made a better single though.
-
Erotica, Ray Of Light and Rebel Heart.
Btw, each and every album has been mentioned by at least one person. Goes to show M doesn't have one single bad album!
-
Btw, Denis Zabee aka Dens54 told French newspaper L'EST Republicain that he was contacted by M's team in early July because they were interested in using one of his remixes on the Rebel Heart Tour. He then sent them the multitrack master of the remix.
Dens54 didn't hear from M's team again until 28 August, when they confirmed to him that his remix of Like a Virgin would indeed be used on the tour. He was offered $ 3,500 for the proprietary rights to the remix.
Thanks for sharing, I was always curious about that.
Glad to see they gave the guy proper credit and even some cash for his remix; they could've said it was M's song from the beginning but instead decided to do this, that's really nice
Is this the second time she's used a fan mix on tour? I think S&S Into The Groove was fan-made as well, right?

Wow, that was AMAZING! In fact I think I like it better than Ghosttown, which I love as well!

Monte was periscoping a bit ago and said Vegas shows will include ray of light, take a bow ,and like a Prayer! He said this was because Vegas venues don't care how long you play.
OMG! If so, please let them be professionally recorded and released!!

Great vid, amazingly well put together!

Her best song of the 10s is Living for Love or Ghosttown. Bye!
+1
Both classic Madonna songs, melody and soundwise.

I know it can't be a proper "definitive" version (even less so when it wasn't officially released), but I LOVED Burning Up live on the Re-Invention Tour, questionable hair style and outfit notwithstanding
-
Such a great song! I was never a big fan of Benny Benassi so I was quite surprised with this one. Amazing production, killer beat and great lyrics, from the Carol Ann Duffy inspired opening line to the True Blue self reference

It'd be a shame if she cut WTG for good. Hopefully it was technical difficulties. I want the set list to get bigger, not shorter by the time the DVD is filmed!

Still laugh to this day at a 45 yo botoxed out of her wits Kilo Bimbo not so covertly laughing at Joan Rivers jokes about Madonna being 108 and the first Madonna fan who masturbated to a M video being able to collect social security
The nerve to criticise the fab majorette outfit
The nerve indeed!! And the majorette outfit remains fabulous, even if doesn't translate as well on pics as it did on stage.

Wow, looks like everyone is on her father's payroll (except the GP who doesn't seem to give a shit about her anymore).
-
Everybody is so mistreated, it never makes the show properly and now even a small snippet is removed!
Indeed! Actually, it would've worked wonderfully as part of the encore just before Holiday.

Just got back from NYC and omg, it was incredible!
She literally killed it, and I find her natural performance skills breath-taking. And such passion, 30 years into her career!
Favorite moments include Iconic, Holy Water, Deeper And Deeper, LDLHA (though I wish she'd sing it in full), Like A Virgin, Rebel Heart, Music and Holiday!
My only gripe would be the interludes. Not a big fan of having some old videos with new music playing over them. She's spoiled us with gems such as Paradise and Bedtime Story, that these videos just felt kind of rushed. But oh well, the performers during the interludes were great and the rest of the show was amazing!

Thank you guys, guess I'll heed your advice and take an Uber instead!

BTW, I was just wondering. Last time around during MDNA, when the tour stopped in England I remember lots of ppl getting worked up over the show ending way late at night and not being able to catch the train back.
Since this'll be my first time in NYC, I don't really know how hard it'll be getting back to JFk airport, taking into account the show will prolly be over past midnight. Would the NYC subway be a good idea after midnight? Should I leave before the show is over (I truly hope I don't have to)?

Wasn't planning on attending but after all grabbed last minute tickets, so I'll be there next Wednesday! Needless to say I can hardly wait!
-
There's a video of La Vie En Rose
Wednesday can't come soon enough!
-
Wasn't a big fan of the song but the video made me appreciate it. Really well-crafted, fun video with huge replay value. So yeah, well deserved M!

There's no way GT would've been a huge hit at least in the states, as most radio stations were urban-dominated at the time. Then again, goes to show Madonna was way ahead of her time with COADF - doing EDM ten years before everyone else

Agree with everyone in here. There's something about a live band that brings an extra-oomph to a concert, see The Girlie Show.
That's something that's been missing in all of her recent tours, but I think it's more evident on RHT because most of the RH tracks are being performed in (almost) their original version (and like someone else mentioned, that's why the acoustic section works so well). Even if all RH tracks were pre-programmed, I think it'd feel a little more "live" if the arrangements weren't so similar to the album version.
