    I could understand your desperation. Anybody who titles themselves "the best selling female artist in history" and can't fill a 2,500 seat arena in Las Vegas must feel defeated. But don't worry: Perhaps these people just saw your insulting performance of I'll Be There at Michael Jackson's funeral, are staying away and just need to be reminded of the gifts you used to have.

    You are one of the most talented singers that has ever lived. I enjoyed your music up until Butterfly came out in 1998. You then hired rent-a-rappers, deep discounted your failing singles so they could top the charts, attempted to "act" in the worst movie the world has ever seen, made multiple trips to the loony bin, got a boob job that made you look heavy, married someone you only dated for a couple months (just as the last album started tanking), and worst of all, lost the ......

    I don't know, I saw a number somewhere for another act that sold 3xPlatinum in Russia and it said it was 600.000 copies... actually it does make sense since Russia has like 140 million people, 60.000 would be quite little? Here in Sweden (9 million people) 1x Platinum is 40.000... on the other hand certifications never really make sense so..

    Someone who knows if accurate platinum in Russia is 200.000 or 20.000? 20.000 just seems so little though..

    Well, we need an accurate source on how much it sold in Russia. For international acts:

    Gold: 10,000

    Platinum: 20,000

    Diamond: 60,000

    So 600,000 would be 10 x Diamond. :lmao:

    EDIT:

    It sold 60,000, which is Diamond, or 3 x Platinum. :thumbsup:

    Well, since the track *did* appear on the Hot 100, and "Hey You" didn't even come close to Bubbling Under the Top 1,000, that's hardly accurate, QB. ;)

    Sales *could* pick up next week, but, if it doesn't, ah well- the album as a whole (and DVD) is the more exciting project (for me, anyhow).

    And why would it pick up? It has no airplay. It rebounded in Canada due to airplay, which doesn't look like it'll happen in the US. :asian:

    Her WO cover was OK 'cos that's when her voice was still there.

    AAO made to #1 was because Wastelife. If she released the solo version, I can rest assure you it will never crack UK top40 'cos her vocal SUCKED big time. Totally ruined the song. I cringed EVERYTIME I hear her version.

    mariah wil get another top 10 hit tomorow. who knows. it might even get to the top 5. its performing better then emancipations's lead single its like that. mariah annonced on twitter that the album is complete. which means now she will fully promote the single.
