The DVD tracklisting is much better than I thought..it could have been MUCH worse....still no BG, Oh Father (WTF? This is one of her best), Fever, NRM, AL...but oh well we take what we're giving.

Oh please there will be no more changes to the tracklistings. It takes time to remaster and everything is probably already set in stone. Production of the CD's is probably underway.
Anyway, the track listing is better than I imagined...we get Who's That Girl, Dress You Up, Burning Up, Everybody...
There are a lot of great tunes ignored...You'll See, Deeper and Deeper, TUTBMP, Bedtime Story, I Want You, YMLM, Drowned World, Get Together, Jump....but you can't put everything on a 2 CD set so obviously some tracks have to be dropped.
Sorry, Hollywood and the god-awful Miles Away shouldn't be there but at least we get some of the older tracks mentioned above.

^Yeah but only #10 on Hot 100 Airplay, that's quite far from the 9 week reign #1 of "TAB".
And if I'm not wrong, even TLC's 4th single outpeaked it on the Hot 100.Once we discussed that "TAB" was a bit different from Babyface's usual stuff, I guess "YS" was a bit too ordinary from Foster to gain bigger attention?
I don't think it should be on the GH, it's kinda dated, unlike "Rain" or "Secret" or "TAB", not fresh at all. Some fans are convinced it should be there since it was ignored on GHV2 and that it's "classic Madonna" but I never thought of it as anything essential or remembered.
You're a fool. YS is one of M's better ballads. You really think crap from this decade is "essential"...yeah maybe Music, Hung Up, 4 Minutes BUT COME ON...NO NON FAN CAN NAME 5 or more M singles from this decade. YS outshines almost every single released since Music. FACT! Deal. With. It.

I am not a fanatic..I don't love everything she does. For me her work this decade pales in comparison to her work in the 80's and 90's. There are a lot of songs from this decade I love, for example:
-Music, Impressive Instant, Paradise, Die Another Day, American Life (yes I actually like this song), Hollywood (Thin White Duke mix only), Future Lovers, Forbidden Love, Jump, History, Candy Shop (yep I love this one too), Devil Wouldn't Recognize You...even Celebration
"Confessions" would be the best album this decade IMO with American Life being the worst. My problem with Madonna is that this decade she stopped being a trend setter, now she's a trend follower. She has done nothing revolutionary this decade, at all. This is my problem with Celebration. Yeah it's a fun summer dance track, but one cannot deny it sounds like DJ Sammy married 90's euro dance.
There isn't a single artist that I can name that I love every single song they've made. Some fan(atics) believe if you don't love every M song you are somehow "letting her down". This is a strange mentality. How can you measure her recent albums with Madonna, Like a Virgin, Like A Prayer, Erotica, ROL? COADF comes close but that's the only one.
When Madonna is long gone and people look back on her career I have suspicions that this will be the decade most skip.

^What was big more than a decade ago might be forgotten today. Madonna shows love to her current songs instead of the mid-90s. None of them would affect sales anyway.
R U brain damaged? This is a career retrospective not just about current songs retard. Unless you are from another planet only a handful of songs this decade were hits let alone songs you'd want to remember.

This is the first tour I will not be attending. I am not shelling out 400 dollars a ticket especially since I'd have to travel to see her. Screw it. The setlist is shit (big surprise there)....about a 1/2 will be lip synced (although some queens refuse to believe it)...I'll wait for the DVD (or HBO or whatever).
I've seen every tour starting with the Virgin tour...what a pity. Madonna you've never let me down until now. Greed and ego are two horrible things that she relishes in.

ha ha ha...you people are comical! You all act like this setlist is a big suprise. I told you all the setlist would be like her latest tours...mostly predictable and a heavy focus on newer material. Whether we like it or not Madonna has a BIG DISDAIN for her early material, whether she admits it or not. She'll never do a concert chock full of her great oldies...it's never gonna happen. She always throws one little bone to her fans for each concert...and this time it's "Borderline" and the rest is songs from her new album and the newer predictable hits she's been performing for a while now (LAB, ROL, Music, HU). I guarentee Jamie King had to do some pretty mighty talking just to get her to perform "Borderline". She has never cared what fans want or think, that's just the way it is. I would like a lot of her older material performed to but it's never gonna happen.

I'm not surprised by this. Madonna has always been driven by money and she never thinks about the fans...it's all money, money, money. She made a big mistake doing this, but I can't say I'm surprised..she's always been a greedy, selfish woman. She lost her ego my ass LOL.

Excellent album with just a few minor flaws (the god-awful bore "Keep it Together" and the pointless "Act of Contrition"). Lot's of great memories here...Madonna was in her prime. LAP is not my all time fav Madonna album but it's still up there with Erotica and ROL.
It's a shame the unreleased songs from the LAP sessions have yet to see the light of day!
For me the best songs are the title cut, Oh Father, Till Death, Spanish Eyes and Promise to Try.
