  1. Yes that's right. I don't like Jesus so I am SELF-LOATHING. I don't like femme gays so I am SELF-LOATHING. I don't like McDonalds so I am SELF-LOATHING. How CONVENIENT.

What I find SHOCKING is how insecure and attached to Madonna GROWN MEN are that every time this isn't a STICKY AND SWEET lovefest towards the QUEEN they crawl into the fetal position and start sobbing or HILARIOUSLY go on revenge crusades to other parts of the board. I mean GROW UP. She IS a popstar, not your MOTHER.

:lmao: Listen, i'll be the first to call the bitch out on anything fucked up that she does.

Self-worth works both ways...some of us think a little too much of ourselves. You made a statement that pretty much says NOBODY could find him more attractive than the cookie-cutter white boys behind him and you're basically calling anyone who does find him more attractive a liar. How high and mighty of you.

  2. I dare ANYONE to tell me that HEESUS is better looking that ANY of the other models.

I think he is and it has nothing to do with me liking Madonna either. I happen to like Brazilian men, so what other dares ya got for me?

Oh, and ANYBODY who says he's "ugly" clearly has some self-image/worth issues to work through. He may not be your cup of tea, but to say he's ugly is just fucked up.

  3. Again, Pink has a very good voice. But she is no Mariah, Whitney or Aretha. She is not in their league. Neither is Madonna. It is apples and oranges. But lets not even pretend Pink is in the big voiced diva league. She ain't.

Aren't you the one who made that comparison in the first place?

I would never say Madonna is a horrible vocalist, but it's laughable that anyone would think she's a better live singer than Pink. I think even Madonna would agree Pink is the better vocalist.

  4. Gwen to a certain degree, but she certainly is NOT a musician...just because she fronted a band.

PINK most definitely was manufactured and she even sang about it in her own songs you dullard :lmao:

Pinks first album was the only manufactured album of her career, after that she's made her own choices musically...dullard. :lmao:

  5. I love this album. It's the first M album i ever bought (until that point, my father wouldn't let me listen to any of her music, so i had to sneak into my sisters room to listen to her albums and cd's) It's the album where i fell in love with her music.

Human Nature and Bedtime Story were my faves.

I can't get it to work on mine but others at MTribe have been able to.

  7. Did ROL sound like anything out in 1998? That was the year it was all about Celine. How about Music in 2000, or American Life in 2003 or Confessions in 2005? Did any of those albums sound like the biggest seller of their given year?

HC was a faceless product that just happened to have Madonna on the cover. That is the only album in Madonna's career where it doesn't feel Madonna-ish, it's like they laid down the music, she walked into the studio and laid vocals, and then the producers did the rest. It was typical Timbaland/Pharrel by numbers and ANY other artist could do the same thing. It's no different than a fucking Stock Aiken Waterman album from the late 1980's.

Sorry dude, but there is nothing you can do that can convince me that Devil Wouldn't Recognize You is anything more than What Goes Around with a different vocal track. It's the worst album of Madonna's career and anything will be better. Even Mariah's E=MC2 was better IMO (at least that album had Side Effects, For The Record and I Stay In Love, which piss all over Candy Shop any day IMO), and that's sad.

And Darren Hayes has the right to an opinion that Confessions and Stuart were much better than Hard Candy was. Some of us agree.

Oh PLEASE. Do yourself a favor and go back and actually listen to her early music, you know...the 80's and it's all there. People who say COAD was a return to her early days are clearly reaching, Hard Candy is the real deal. It's ALL HER. The fact that you don't like it doesn't make it "not her."

  8. But then what am I supposed to post about? I am aware that my posts here have been overwhemingly negative of late, but I don't know how I'm supposed to fill the quota. I love Madonna's back catalogue but there's only so many times I can get excited over 'Madonna's most underappreciated ballad/album/outfit' threads, no offence to the guys that do enjoy those discussions. I am more interested in the here and now. And if I think something in the here and now is great, then I will be the first to post about it. For instance, I think her face is looking very beautiful lately, and I have said so on numerous occasions. And you can believe I mean it because I am one of the loudest critics of stuff she has done to it in the past.

I am aware that long term it would be rather ridiculous to remain on a forum dedicated to someone whose current music you don't enjoy. So of course if I carry on thinking this way I will shuffle off eventually, but we are only one album and a tour in, and I keep hoping that when she settles from the divorce and all the other shit that is going on in her life she will produce stuff which I love again.

 That's fair. Is there nothing you liked from Hard Candy or Sticky and Sweet though?

  9. I was actually agreeing with you but never mind. I DO use this forum for bitter ranting yes. I am sorry if you don't like it. It's 2am here and I've been up far too late doing something for work. Crabby sleepiness does tend to waken the argumentative tosser in me.

What's your excuse the rest of the time? I've never seen even ONE positive post by you. I admit i've not been on here long, but it seems as if you really dislike Madonna. Not being bitchy, just pointing it out(the obvious).
