    I say thay should suppress TIC /GHV2 ONLY digitally at least for now

    a couple of things about TRUE BLUE .. the make my video contest was only in the US ...IN THE REST of we all got the "car video" it was cute and simple , also TB was a bigger hit than LIB that song has grown in stature due to time and inclusion on many tours . At the time of TB release it was another HUGE single by Madonna .. no one expected OYH to come an overshadow it.

    23 yrs later EVERYONE remembers PDP and OYH but at the time critcs praised the 60s retro pop feel of TB. I hard to believe now that madge had so many big singles back to back that they were stepping on each other ; I think in the hits collection they should acknowledge that and put the hits that some may have "forgot" .

    that is a good idea on their part .. as soon as the cd is released they should remove TIC from US itunes too.. it already sold WAY beyond expectation .. so to sell new cd they should force buyers to the new project

    She wasn't invited it was reported at the time .. she was big but not thought " credible " to MJ /Ritchie .. at the time there was a vindication feeling when Crazy For You knocked it out of #1 ... see i'm old ( i remember this) facts are not from WIKI.

    as for the rest of this thread to the this day Do they Know its Christmas is one of my fave songs ever ... maybe its US thing or an age thing .. but that song its Christmas classic !!! to this day I watch the the making of DTKIC EVERY CHRISTMAS since 1984! its a crowd pleaser its like saying you hate 'Let It Be' ...

    During promo for GHV2 Matt Lauer asked why was American Pie left off ( being a recent hit ) and she said " I don't know I guess I'm punishing it b/c I was forced to put it on the European version of Music" then she laughed i always found that very funny .. like her songs really are her children

    Has the tour had a noticeable impact on HC album sales?

    I don't understand why some people don't get Madonna is NOT touring to sell her cd ...THE TOUR is what she's selling that's where the money is coming from.. Hard Candy is just the new batch of sons to add to the live show. If HC somehow added a million copies in the US to equal Confessions that would barely make ANY difference finanicially .. I bet is anyone asked her would she rather sell 3 million units US or sell out a week at MSG in NYC ... i'll bet she would choose the shows.

    ^^ I agree .. and please i would love to see these imaginary empty rooms as she sings ROL .. instead of the 15 000 jumping like crazy ...

    and please stop acting like you represent the average fans.. or you KNOW ... we are all clearly OBSESSED the "average fan" is not having this discussion on a message board Saturday afternoon.. they are content when they hear a song on the radio .. they are thinking I hope she sings Dont Tell Me ~ just ask someone outside your tiny circle sometime.

    they are not bitcing that she released the wrong single .. or not doing enough promo ... they are NOT checking mediasbase 5 times day to follow GI2M and CAPPING FLOP every other post. 80% per cent of the show is NOT thinking PLEASE i paid $$$ don't sing any of your biggest hits I was told off by some gay guys of a madonna blog ... that VOGUE is so OVER !! Next.
