  1. Chris Hayes is talkin about it right now (Mateen's presence)

At the end of the day it's just awkward and weird and no one is denying that

But what exactly is the objective of the uproar? like what's the insinuation. It's crazy but what does it imply about the Clinton campaign any more than Mark Foley getting a prime seat at Trump's rally

In other words it's a click bait story worth nothing

Trump is the first presidential candidate in American history to be interviewed by the secret service about the shit he says. It's no mystery why that's dominating the news instead.

  2. I guess it's alarming cause those seats behind the candidate are usually reserved.. But as usual her camp is playing stupid. And yes you should be shocked. He's a Taliban sympathizer sitting right behind the candidate

It was an open rally and 2 ppl I know were at it. You show up you get in. Again what's the insinuation here exactly

  3. I agree

If this would have been at Trumps rally this thread would have exploded. Im shocked nothing is being said about it

    its disturbing in any context

Absolutely not. I'm speaking for myself here but it's a major non story and we all know it'. Omar Mateen's father is an awkward person to see at a rally in any context but what is the insinuation here? That Hillary killed 49 gay people in my hometown? If he was at Trumps rally would that be the insinuation? Either way it's horse shit

Some of you are so ridiculous

And we all know Hillary can't make news cuz Trump is too busy "misspeaking"

Blame him if you're upset Hillary isn't being raked through the coals

  4. I promise you I'm not trolling. How on earth is anyone supposed to know every 'public figure' commenting on this election? I've never heard of Nate and I was transparent about that.

That swipe was directed at me. Am I not allowed to respond in kind? Yes, I am.

You dismissed him as a pundit cuz he wasn't telling you what you wanted to hear (whatever that may be)

  5. How do you rate your state reps then? Are they doing enough? Hector's news stories and the Disney Alligator suggest otherwise. Aside from Oranges and Disney what is Florida known for (amongst Americans)? I am not a fan of insects so I couldn't deal with the swamps but the weather does look great usually.

    Whatever GU

  6. People bound to hatred and ego are more likely to equalize Clinton and Trump and buy into stupid sensationalist conspiracy

Meanwhile Trump insinuates she deserves assasination attempts and these same ppl wonder why everyone else with a brain freaks out

This is not how you run presidential campaigns and he deserved to be ridiculed for it. He is losing and the uncontrollable rage he's tryin to stifle is spilling out

The GOP nominated someone with a possible personality disorder

  7. And I can't at some of you saying HRC intentionally invited Omar Mateen's father to the rally

Right becuz Clinton just wants another headache

The man lives in Florida it's not like he got flown in from Afghanistan

Who knows why he thought it was a good idea to show up anywhere. Weirdo. It's bad optics all around but creating conspiracy from nothing is fucking stupid and it doesn't even make any sense. She invited Mateen's father to her rally so she could get a whole bunch of ppl on Twitter to accuse her of being a terrorist? What is this, Inception/ Mind King Fu of a political campaign. Have a seat

Anyway back to the Trump show

  8. Um..if I read correctly that 'may' not be a good thing, babe! lol. Esp. the part about being 'overtaken' in September. ;)

No, it's a good thing. Just cuz Dukakis was a democrat doesn't mean we have to follow his model against Clinton's. He lost in a landslide after a topsy turvy couple of months polling that later widened into clear defeat.

But like Trump, his convention was before the winner's convention. Bush got the last word. After that, Dukakis never recovered. What we're seeing now is Trump, post convention, bleeding out with his polling numbers. Trump is supposed to have experienced a bounce after the RNC. Where is the bounce? :rotfl:

Clinton's convention was a resounding success, amplified all the more with how horribly it began. By the end, she had solidified her support. Then came Trump, punching himself in the face, sometimes 2 times a day, culminating with the Khan feud. It's done such horrible damage. I invite you to take a look at the details of these polls. He is losing college educated white women in massive numbers. This hasn't ever been lost by a republican... ever. He's losing college ed whites. Again, NEVER HAPPENED.

Polling at 1% with blacks. Polling far worse than Romney with latinos. Losing double digits with women. Losing 18-30 handily. Losing a 2-1 margin on "qualified to be in office" (!!!!!!)

A lot can happen. But the polls that have come out the past week have hit everyone like a ton of bricks. if they keep up, the GOP doesn't just lose the WH. They lose the senate. They lose the house. It's bad.

He'll clean up his act for the next week. But how long will it last?

  9. Lmao at that Daily Caller article. Okay..I'll sleep a bit better 2nte ;P. Think it was Skin who copied/pasted something here from Facebook very recently showing basically identical posts from at least 3 or 4 different 'people', aliases or whatever that had in/around the SAME amount of likes. Lol!

Yep. So glad I don't have Facebook. Sometimes this thread alone gives me palpitations. Can't even imagine what some of those ridiculous gays I used to have on my friends list have to say about this election  Especially that 1 that dragged me to the Sanders rally earlier this year :vomit:
