Where are all the haters in this thread? Maybe they don't want to admit that they actually like what they hear after so loudly declaring that the song was garbage based on the 20-second clip
It's a dub. Impossible to get a feel for the song at all based on this. We got more of a sense of what the song was like from that measly 20 second clip than this dub. It had the chorus after all.
You might wanna drop that smug attitude too btw x 100

Ew so far. I'll wait for the full song.

The fact that her old stuff was still played doesn't prove anything.. Clear Channel only owns 60% of radio stations anyway.
American Life was banned.. there is no question.
Fair enough it might have been a shit song and her time to fall.. that doesn't prove anything either.
Eitherway she's only one big hit away from proving herself to everyone again.
Its not a convincing enough argument to me, but keep telling yourself that! *Romy & Michele*

I really can't believe that people are still questioning this.. it's so obvious they stopped playing M because of political agendas. The Dixie Chicks were America's most wholesome and beloved band and look what happened to them.. How can someone ignore the evidence like that?
Because the rest of her songs were unaffected. Don't you think Into The Groove would have been removed from those mix stations? What about Music? They were still played just as much.
It's just a case of her fans being unable to admit that American Life was a failure of a first single and that the rest of hte album had little chance of salvaging her at that point. It was just her time to tank. It happens to EVERY ARTIST.

I'm excited to hear the song but I kinda wish people woudl just detach themselves from the whole "WILL IT BE A HIT" thing and just enjoy it. That part of Madonna's career is over, she keeps her A-list status in a much different way now. She doesn't need radio. Anything extra, including the success of her singles is icing on the cake at this point. That show is over, say goodbye.

Yikes.

Yeah she probably heard that mess and was like "omg I really hope they don't ask me..."

"I wan SOMEBADDY, to spid it AP for mi then take it down SLOW, there's ENAFF room for BOW"
-
I liked it too.

Yeah she definitely put her classic thighs back on. They were so skinny on the last leg; they looked good, but not her usual nutcracking thighs. She looks perfect now! Maybe being a single cougar has something to do with it too?

Fuck I love this woman.

0:36-0:43 are her most HILARIOUS live vocals EVER
But I still love it of course.
:rotfl:

thats nice.

Well I love watching her regardless, even when her vocals suck. I just think on THIS tour, she was capable of better. I guess it is age though. She makes up for it with the performances anyway - that's an area where she's only gotten better and better.
-
Of course not. I mean vocals like this:
Sure she lowers her voice to a different key so that she can sing the song, but it seems like when she does that now, she still sounds like caca. She hits some sour notes on Candy Shop's verses which I thought would be a cakewalk for her. Oh well. I think the DWT and Girlie Show are her best tours for live singing. RIT was eh. Confessions had some incredible highs and big lows. Sticky And Sweet was not very good. I love the Blond Ambition voice but she was abusing it for sure.
She sounds amazing on Frozen too:

Well yeah I may have been too harsh in saying "death," but really, the last tour had so many bad vocal moments, it just seems like she can't stay on key at all anymore. She does great with the ballads, particularly the Evita songs. But when she tries to sing a song like Beat Goes On, she can barely make it through. She sounded great on the DWT, I don't know if she was just singing easier songs, but her voice was a lot "cleaner" and she was getting through the songs with relative ease. When 2003 came around, she started having the crow effect. It seemed to come out of nowhere, and I don't really get why. Just 2 years prior she was fantastic live.
-
She doesn't have the control she used to have over her voice. You can even go back to the DWT days to see that she used to be pretty decent live. Now she sounds like death.

I love Runaway Lover! So interesting to hear his opinion on his work with Marge.
-
And so clueless. She serious reminds me of Mirandasings08 from YouTube (and no, this girl isn't for real btw ). A person who is so blinded and convinced that they're the baddest thing ever that they don't know how fucking retarded they really look (go to 2:45... or watch the whole thing if you want to be truly confused )
Miranda sings Imogen Heap!

Is it bad for me to hope that Gaga's next album tanks?
-
Grammies were my favorite overall perofrmance. I like the EMAs for the excitement factor. The tour performance for how beautiful she looked.
The only thing bad I can say about the Confessions era was that she really only put out 1 good video and the rest ranged from meh to shit. Other than that, I've never loved Madonna more.
-
I hate her dance moves in this video. What was she thinking? I'm sure she did the choreography herself so can't blame anyone for this mess.
Falsehood.
"Celebration"- Oakenfold 12'' DUB

Oh I wasn't saying that people couldn't be excited. Personally I'm witholding my opinion til I hear the full song because that dub did zip for me. I was mainly getting on Carta for being so passive aggressively smug with EVERY post he makes as of late.
