People expecting a CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE a la Bad Girl from those teasers deserve to be dissapointed. She's DONE making those videos. I so agree with Paupower that she finally looks at home in this video. The dancing isnt embarsasing like 4 Minutes. It feels more like a Madonna experience.

I wouldn't classify "I'd Rather Be Your Lover" (R&B funk) and "Don't Stop" (disco) as adult contemporary.
Adult contemporary isn't a musical style as far as I know. Don't Stop and I'd Rather Be Your Lover both fit into that "easy listening" muzak blahness to me, which is why I hate them. Don't Stop doesn't sound like disco to me, it just sounds like a piece of shit

Wait let's not get crazy here. I like Bedtime Stories. Well, half of it. I just hate the adult contemporary crap like Take A Bow, Don't Stop, I'd Rather Be Your Lover, etc. Just bad. Ballads around '95-'96 were just awful. I hate Playground too, what a snooze. The best Midge ballads are ones written with Pat. David Foster, Babyface? Puuuuke.

I didn't realize I was supposed to coo and clasp my hands whenever I hear You'll See and Take A Bow simply because Madonna sings them. My bad.
In all seriousness though, I love a lot of Madonna ballads, but the slow shit she did on Bedtime Stories, Evita, and Something To Remember just about puts me to sleep. That whole era was Madonna at her least creative in my opinion.

You'll See and the songs that surrounded that era (bar I Want You) are pretty corny to be fair though. I cringe when I hear a lot of those 90s adult contemporary ballads. Celine Dion lite.

The shit that Waiting gets thrown at him, even if its by people who kinda deserve to get shit thrown at them too, is totally 100% valid n my opinion. The guy has every right to have an opinion but we all know he loves getting people riled up. He doesn't post an opinion if he knows it won't get responded to. There's a difference between an overly critical Madonna fan (Lucky Guy) and an all around brat (Waiting).
