Yeah my eyes nearly popped out of my sockets looking at Madonna. She was sexy.

Oh... my... god

Maybe you just aren't sensitive to peoples auras? You know what, you can hear the expression somebody is pulling while they speak. There is a lot of tension and negativity there. They're both playing games (of course it's showbiz) but I just sense a level of nastiness on his part that is quite unbecoming. I really hope he doesn't remain so successful.
Sensitive to people's auras? Can you hear yourself right now
I sensed nothing nasty about him. And I dislike Ryan, I think he's so corny. But I've heard him do a zillion interviews with celebrities (I have to hear him everyday on the way to work). If he was fake with Madge, he's fake with everyone. He acts the exact same way with them all.

WHy are people acting like it was this boring disaster? Have you never seen a Letterman interview? Like Pud said, maybe about 30 seconds are devoted to what they're promoting. The rest of the interview is chit chat.
Madonna + Letterman have such adorable chemistry. I loved the interview.

You guys read into everything so much. I can't believe I'm actually reading waht I'm reading in this thread
People are OFF. THEIR. ROCKER.
The interview was great. I love Madonna more than ever lately. She seems like she's really living it up.
-
And SO dead at her finally admitting that she smoked a bowl before the '94 appearance. I knew it. I KNEW IT.
-
Wow, that was really adorable. Madonna is so tiny. She really seems like a different person lately. Very laid-back.
I love her.

Wait a minute, Examiner is probably the least reputable place for ANYTHING. Let's wait and see.
-
Don't feel bad for her. She looks like the bigger person in this, and he looks like a petty, sexist faggot (sorry, I think that word applies here).
You nailed it.
-
You are both acting like ignorant toolboxes. Keep this up and I will close this thread and make a new one. Let's drop it.

This would be a dream come true.

Goodbye thread. It should have been sacked long ago considering hte article was probabl written by token loonbag ihateoreilly.

Because we are all so threatened by Gaga's shining light. She's a force of nature. The loons here have heard ".....is the next Madonna" many times before. This time we all know it's real though. Gaga brings her own unique brand of star quality and musicianship/stage presence that the world has never seen before, much like Madonna did in her early years. Just Dance is a classic. The coat of many Kermits will be a fashion staple amongst the young, hip crowd that Gaga courts and The Fame has already sold a little over 4 million copies WW, completely SHATTERING the sales of Madonna's flop Hard Candy which sold around 3.5 million WW. Obviously, it's Gaga's world we just live in it.
What else is there to say? Gaga is a phenomenon. A trendsetter. A true artist and just an all around Goddess damnit. She is the real deal and that really threatens me as a Madonna fan. I know Madonna's reign is now over and yes....that's terrifying.
Kurt you're just kind of proving his point now
Although I don't really think you (or anyone else here) is threatened by Gogga. Once she starts consistently outselling Madonna around the world I'm sure the chart brigade will flip out. But other than that, nah.
Personally I'm not obsessive enough about Madonna's LEGACY to feel scared when I see Gaga. To be incredibly PC for a moment - they do different things. Gaga has her thing going for her and I hope she enjoys it because it seems like she's painting herself into a corner. Marilyn Manson, who I love, did the same thing and his career eroded slowly but surely.

Topaz, I was not even thinking about you or referencing you when I made that post. I put "not singling anyone out" because I actually MEANT that. I meant in general, from waht I see on YouTube, other music forums, etc. I didn't mean you. So don't get it twisted, I was not looking for a fight with anyone.
-
Wow. Still going on about this? Obsessed much??
Seems you're still getting worked up about it. I get it, you love her, you don't like it that I find her abhorrent. If it bothers you, you can show that you think my opinion is bullshit by ignoring it. Move on.

She stands proud.

The mixing on that song is horrendous. The song is horrendous. I preferred Laquanda's version.

TheYoungTurks must have been reading this thread & the Godga thread in Plop Princesses

In 10 years if Gag is still doing her thing and topping the charts I will give her props, but until then I will continue to laugh at her and her "fans" for elevating her to the status of a music legend despite the fact that she only has 1 fucking album out.
Believe me I'm laughing right along with you.
I guess what bothers me most about Gaga and all her obsessive "ICON" fans (not singling anyone out) is that they have this snooty air of superiority because THEY GET HER and we don't. Oh I get it alright. It's like a joke that someone tells and they start laughing at their own joke. I laughed the first time. Now the joke is spent.

Top or not, this performance will be remembered, just like Madonna with LAV, and Britney with Slave 4 U.
I thought that too when I was watching it, simply because it was such a LOOK AT ME moment, but we're coming up on a week later and no one's really talking about it. Kanye and Taylor pretty much killed her chances.
-
Oh it was a post on Examiner. I guess ihateoreilly was feeling bored again.
There really is no point in comparing these two performances. Or these 2 women for that matter. All I will say is that performance of Paparazzi was one of the most unsexy things I've seen in VMA history
right up there with Britney's bloated vicoden performance in '07 and Paula Abdul's Vibeology in' '91.

Do you think these babies will show up in the REVOLVER video ?
Oh I loved when she wore that.
I don't want to see a video for this song though, it's kind of a turd.
-
Her voice circa 1989-1990 has always been my favorite. Around Music her vocals had a resurgence of sorts, loved them then too. Lately it sounds like she's bored out of her mind singing these songs. I don't think it has anything to do with the horse accident, because the nasal/bored voice was there long before that. I think she's just getting older. The high pitched stuff just isn't working for her much anymore.
-
Terrible. Even worse than Revolver! I guess Celebration (Benny edition) really is the shining light of the new songs.
Madonna on "Saturday Night Live"?

Madonna would be wonderful on SNL. I'd much rather see her in a few flat skits than see her talk about raising her 4 kids with Oprah. Housewives are Oprah's biggest audience for a reason. It would be a yawn. Madonna needs to show the world that she can still make fun of herself. Then again I am in the minority that wants to see Madonna on tv for fandom purposes rather than "omg please hawk your greatest hits album Madonna!!!!"
