Late, bought the deluxe edition today. The man who scanned my copy asked me if this were a new album. Apparently people who are out the loop on Madonna are several decades behind on career. He seemed nice.

I love that. CBS Fox Video cassettes were always advertised as Mono Compatible.All VHS movies with Stereo soundtracks would have two soundtracks...one in Stereo, and one in Mono, for playback on VCRs that didn't have Stereo heads on them. And if there were playback problems with the Stereo tracks (likely, as they were the first to go with wear and tear on the tape), playback would fall back to the Mono track.

Erotica and American Life are stuffed with left field Madonna.I have a new friend who fell in love with Isaac when I was playing Confessions the other day. He was so surprised that M would have such an alternative and different sounding song. I explained that she has been including a genius weird track on her albums for years. Now I am making him a mix cd (yes I still do this) of some of her more experimental stuff. I have included:

Madonna's best solution for preventing leaks is a shorter delay between recording and getting the album prepared for release. Madonna is a traditionalist as a recording artist. And likely felt if Beyoncé could keep an album safe and secure so could she. Madonna should have dropped this year instead of waiting for early next. Music today is immediate.

Track length is key to getting 19 songs on a single disc. Many won't be longer than four and a half minutes.why do people think that it won't happen? You can't have 19 songs in a single CD.

Despite Rebel Heart being a great song. It does not make a great album title. Too generic for Madonna.

I think what we have will be of value by Madonna's refusal to release new comprehensive remasters and special editions. There are items like tours that are on obsolete media that will go up on her official website eventually for streaming remastered.Do you think they would only press a limited amount of these special/deluxe/remaster editions?

Madonna will have her back catalog digitized and remastered (audio and video) for streaming only. Madonna's physical media legacy will be made up of originals and reissues. Very little if any special editions that were not initial release special editions. Madonna will create a frenzy without making any official extensive compilation releases.

Since the writer is a cunt--I cannot appreciate any of the authentic details in the piece. Although, the reality is, things really were dire for Madonna then--her tour didn't even bother to go to any other major cities in the states. Madonna was mad at America's hypocritical attitude about human sexuality. And of course, the crowd was tough.

I don't care about charts. But whenever Madonna debuts at number one in several countries and I read that Madonna becomes emotional about it after all these years I feel proud to be a Madonna fan. For her to know she is beloved despite the criticism and shit she continues to receive after all this time. I love her.

Ignored by the tasteless.Love Profusion still remains my favorite song from the AL album but it seems to be pretty much ignored by fans. I think a it's very underrated song. How do you guys feel about it?
