  1. Medellín is too long. My bet is that the song will have a short intro, and then a special edit for the video. If they're planning a full intro with the full song it will be a 6 minute video and that will be very difficult to trend, to be viral and to share. Yes, it is amazing for fans, but the GP is not here for a 6 minutes video.

Let's wait and see. That said, I'm extremely excited about the visuals.

  2. My reaction as a Colombian, and a fan:

At first, I wasn't so sure about it. Then, 30 minutes later I said to me: let's search the lyrics and start to sing the song. I didn't realise that I was suddenly DANCING to the song. It is a grower, for sure.

Maluma is SO annoying, and Madonna has like 350 filters on her voice on the chorus. But the song is catchy, groovy, fun, and different.

    NOW, details:

    Maluma says:

"Si tu quieres nos vamos por Detroit" (If you want we go to Detroit)

This is a reference to ANAL SEX LOL. "Detroit" in Spanish sounds like "Detrás" (behind) and it's a very well know joke in Latin countries.

Madonna says: "We built a cartel just for love", in a reference to drug cartels in Medellín, widely know for all the damages in the country duroing the 80s and 90s

  3. For the last time: VIDEO IS BEING RELEASED TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY 17TH

It's useless, pointless, ridiculous having MTV to release only the song with NO VIDEO.

Madonna confirmed it, Maluma confirmed it. Also, Gregory Kara who made the white eyepatch M is using on the single cover revealed that Diana Kunst is the director and that the video is INDEED being released TOMORROW

He has a song called Cuatro Babys (Four babies), which talks about the four women he has and do as he pleases. A lyric reads: they fuck (chingan) when I want. The song caused quite a stir some years ago in LatAm, particularly among feminist discourse.

This, but many of the Latin songs in every genre (Salsa, Vallenato, Merengue, and reggaeton) have disrespectful lyrics to women, so it's ridiculous to point Maluma as sexist just because of that, when you have plenty of songs daily on the radio and the media talking about the same topics.

You said Maluma was in  Morocco for reasons relating to the reveal right?  Why is that?

According to my sources, they will premiere the song and video in a live broadcast. That they will be together talking about the song. Maluma said yesterday that he was traveling to a new country and that he felt blessed because Music is taking him to other countries and cultures. So, my bet is that Madonna will be traveling to Marrakesch to be with him and talk to MTV about the song and the video.
