I recall that BIM had lots of versions. Diplo talked about it several times. I do love what Sophie did with the final version. But, the final version feels like something is missing. It is an in your face powerful version focused on the lyrics, but no longer has enough repetition to work as a dancing banger track for me. But, still my favorite song on the album for its cool, edgy sound.
Hope M has Sophie involved on the new album on a couple of tracks.
Again, they fucked up the mixing and mastering of the song (just like every other track on the album). Sophie's production on the verses are too muffled.

The demo doesn't have the iconic deconstructed off-beat/glitchy PC synth pattern like the final version. Kind wish SOPHIE could've reworked Illuminati and SEX too.

I need her to completely finish up the album by the end of July. These sporadic recording sessions concern me quite a bit to be honest. I don't want her to have too much time to overthink and overcook her work, and Guy needs to stay away from her album as far as possible. Not trying to downplay M's ability but the biggest problem with the last 2 albums was that there was not one single co-producer to oversee the whole project WITH her to tighten things up, so hopefully Mirwais is here to do this job while she's busy playing with her kids and MDNO Skin. Do we know if Mirwais is back to London? Is it possible that he is still locked up in the Lisbon studio cooking up something yummy?

I don’t remember where the listening took place on that occasion, but I don’t think it was in NYC. I feel like it was somewhere in California, or somewhere in the Pacific time zone. So I think some people traveled for that one, too.
It’s a shame that the listening didn’t prevent the leaks — I would imagine the reason for doing it that way (as opposed to just sending everyone a digitally watermarked audio file) was to decrease the likelihood of a leak.
Guess I’m just wondering when she would have gotten on the same page with the album artwork collaborators. If this is the shoot, they have to have discussed earlier — and unsure whether they would have heard a preview of the album or not.
Okay...but they could’ve been working on another magazine photoshoot and Madonna just wanted to give them a preview since it was...convenient? Didn’t she have a bunch of photo shoots with Marcus in 2014?

But this time she’s flying the whole crew to Portugal, instead of them just chilling in NYC and M inviting Mert to her place to listen to some music. I really don’t think she’s going to fly her makeup artist across the Atlantic just to get inspired.

What do you mean about Erotica, Bedtimes Stories or Confessions???? THEY WERE GREAT. With Erotica they didn't give up but release a great bunch of songs and high quality videos till the very end. All beautifully marketed.
With Bedtime STories they knew Madonna was wrong with her idea of having BS as first single and went for Secret insteaad, restablishing her as a SINGER.
With Confessions it was one of the most impecable campaigns EVER.
Really, sometimes...
Let's not forget her trying to push Candy Shop as first single...
