[*]And I believed after going through that circle, Madonna has embraced that she needs to be connected with other people. She's getting older. She has children already. She's been on top of the world but nothing can match connectedness with other people. That's why we got Madonna working with with JT, Pharrell, Kanye, Katy, Miley, Nicki, and whoever is next. She's no longer the Erotica Madonna you adored. She's no longer the Ray of Light Madonna you worshipped. She's come down from it all and wants to have more people in her life. She's a human being for god's sake. I don't think there's anything wrong with her working with other musicians. It's what other people say about the humanised Madonna that's wrong anyway. People keep shoving her in a box where she's all alone but she's far gone from that already.

That's such a deep, interesting interpretation.

  2. If this tour is going to have more classics, it's because she's been a lot more nostalgic lately. Which would make it alright and not at all forced. Doing oldies just because you have to sell some tickets (you know what I'm talking about) would be beneath her.

  3. LOL at Estelle Getty.

According to Pud's blog, most of the BAT Gaultier sketches had her as a brunette ala LAP. Never knew that she was supposed to tour like that in 1993 though. Could be dope.

  4. You say it like its a bad thing.

And Madonna's seen enough unflattering pictures of herself online, that's why she's been wearing gloves for the past 5 years.

No one likes a try hard, go ask Lady GaGa. For someone who wants Madonna to make 'cool' music, you should know that trying too hard is a no no.

  5. I remember buying it on DVD in like 2002, watching Erotica with my mom... as soon as we got to that close up of Michael's asd, my mom politely asked me to turn it off and then watch it without her heh. I was only 13 years old, I think.

The Beast Within gave me a hard on the first time I saw it.
