  1. He co-wrote and co-produced "4 Minutes," "Miles Away," "Devil Wouldn't Recognize You," and "Voices." All of which rank among my favorites from this past album. I actually think Danja's sound is very evident at the end of "Miles Away," in "4 Minutes" and in "Voices." But that's just me.

Didn't he also work on "Dance 2Night"?

  2. I don't know why people think Madonna isn't doing well.Last year, she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, she had one of the biggest hit singles of her career ("4 Minutes"),and she had the most successful tour of her career, grossing over $400 million. With all of that going for her,I see no reason why she should replace Guy Oseary.

  3. I'm sorry but :lmao:

She's probably very proud of Hard Candy.I mean, it's the first time she does the same tour TWICE!

And again, she's going to to do all her tours in her contract as soon as possible because she's 51.

Yeah,I think it's safe to assume that Madonna is VERY proud of Hard Candy. It's the only album where she has done TWO tours for.

  4. Madonna fans are the biggest cry babies in the history of music fandom!

i mean, seriously? it's 47 MADONNA VIDEOS... Plus JML extra. 2 dics and THREE HOURS of Madonna material!!!!!

Every single video that isn't on the DVD can be found elsewhere on DVD, except for Everybody (get it on Itunes - the quality is great!!) and AL (which she TOLD US she was never going to release). Bad Girl, Oh Father, all the others are on Itunes too. You all own 93:99 and IC DVDs...and if you don't, well that's too bad. get them on amazon, or ebay.

Excuse her for excluding videos we've seen a million times and are on other collections to make room for videos that have NEVER BEEN RELEASED. How often are you going to watch them that you need them on your comprehensive 2-disc DVD set? I mean sooner or later you're going to be changing that disc anyway...why not just put a video on Itunes or play one of her old DVDs? And I know the uncut AL vid is out there somewhere to download...

So far, the CDs and DVD sound like a gift from god for Madonna fans. I can't wait!!!

    BOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for saying this!! I can't believe all the whining, bitching and nit-picking going on.For the most part, the videos that aren't included on this set can easily be found on the previous 2 compilations,or on iTunes,Youtube or eleswhere.I'm thrilled with this DVD set because it gives us 27 videos that have never appeared on a video compilation before. If I wanna see "Bad Girl","Oh Father" or any other great video that's not included here,I can simply pull out the previous compilations. And like you said, the AL video isn't hard to find, either.

  5. I can't believe the criticism of some pleople here. Celebration contains about 30 obvious hits... what's the problem if they include 3-4 tracks due to sentimental purposes or because they are classic tracks that almost all the fans love??????

And let's not forget that the world is something more than the UK and the USA. Hollywood and Sorry were big hits in several european countries, as well as Miles Away in Japan. I don't think those tracks are out of place.

I agree! All of this bitching and whining is ridiculous. We have all of her albums anyway! If you wanna hear a song that's not included on this set, simply pull out the album that it appears on and play it! And if you really hate "Hollywood" and "Miles Away" so much, simply skip over these tracks when you play the 'Celebration' set.I really don't see the point in getting all upset just because the tracklist isn't the way YOU think it should be.It is what it is.Either buy it or don't buy it,but let's stop acting like babies.

  6. This article is ridiculous. They're trying to make it seem that Madonna is over, saying she should retire, blah blah blah. But they always forget to mention that "4 Minutes" became one of the biggest hit singles of her career, and Sticky and Sweet tour became the most successful tour ever by a female artist. And oh yeah, she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

I wonder why they never mention these things? :)

So what if she has the occasional single that doesn't do well? It never stops her from having successful tours and albums that reach Number One in numerous countries. Why would anyone retire when their tours routinely gross over $200 million?

  7. I really don't see why so many fans are getting upset about this tracklist. We all have these songs anyway! We have all of her albums! If you don't like this set,you can make your own CD set.Download the songs YOU want (using the versions that YOU want) and burn it onto a disc.Problem solved.

Greatest hits compilations are useless for diehard fans anyway.

  8. The reason Mariah's album keeps getting delayed is because her record label is disppointed with it.They keep sending her back to the studio to record new tracks and re-work some tracks.A few tracks have been removed from the final tracklist. Her album is a dud and they're trying to salvage it.The first single "Obsessed" was only a minor hit and they're strugling to find a strong follow-up single. This album is more "urban sounding" than her previous albums, but the songs are just not very good (according to insiders).

  9. I'm satisfied with this tracklist. There's no way that she could have made a 'perfect' 2-CD compilation, considering all the hits that she has had.It would take a 4-CD box set to include everything.I think this set is a great overview of her career.

Glad to see "Miles Away" on there. It's my favorite song from Hard Candy.

  10. Why did she pick that weird place to begin with? It's crazy how she picks these strange countries where she's not very popular, while ignoring places like Australia who would welcome her with open arms. She could sellout a weeks' worth of shows in Australia!

  11. i don't get why madonna fans don't like hard candy. i love the first 6 songs so much (yes, even candy shop) and i think they're way better than celebration. i even think hard candy is slightly better than confessions (just a bit).

I love Hard Candy! Heartbeat,Miles Away,Devil Wouldn't Recognize You,Beat Goes On,She's Not Me,Dance 2Night,and Give It 2 Me are classic Madonna tunes, imo. These songs sound "new" and fresh, yet they still have that classic 80s Madonna sound/vibe to them. That's what I love about Hard Candy....it's an updating of the classic Madonna sound of the 80s.COADF was too,but with a Eurodisco vibe.

I don't like Celebration very much. It's okay, but it's not nearly as good as any of the Hard Candy tracks that I listed above.

American Life is the only recent Madonna album that I'm not in love with. There are a few great songs, but much of it is simply boring.Songs like Nothing Fails,Intervention and X-Static Process put me to sleep.Alot of fans love Hollywood, but I don't think it's anything to write home about.

I'm tired of these setlists leaving out "Angel","Causing A Commotion","Who's That Girl" and "Keep It Together"!

And if this really is the Japanese version, shouldn't "Miles Away" be included, since that song did pretty well over there?

  13. It's more like sesame street lyrics...

    Once upon a time

There was a boy and there was a girl

Don't sit there like some silly girl

If you wait too long it'll be too late :gross:

But that's my whole point.Madonna's lyrics aren't deep or very insightful these days. She's all about having fun on the dance floor. Can't blame her, really.Look at the lyrics to other pop songs from this decade.A few years ago,The Black Eyed-Peas "My Humps" was a Number One single! Everyone seems to be dumbing down their lyrics.

  14. To avoid silliness like this, she should simply put on a jacket after her workouts so that when she's leaving the gym,the paparazzi can't take less-than-flattering pics of her arms. This whole nonsense could have easily been avoided.

I also think she should chillout on the extensive workouts. She's already too thin! Eat a hamburger,Madonna!

  15. I don't know if the pictures were "altered" or not,but I wish that Madonna would prepare herself for things like this.Maybe she could put on a sweater when she's leaving the gym? These pics are being discussed everywhere, including other artists' fansites. It's kinda embarrassing. This is the type of silly media attention that she doesn't need right now.

  16. Damn, why is she so obsessed with having skeletal arms??? It's great that she loves to workout but there is a such as thing as OVERDOING IT! Madonna seriously needs to spend less time in the gym and EAT more. These pictures are embarrassing!!!

Come on Madonna.Gain some weight and stop going out in public looking like a starved skeleton!
