I like the idea of a new single right now....something to keep us happy until the album is finished and ready for release.Maybe this will be a 'teaser" single and not the official first single from the album.Many artists release songs like this..a little gift for the fans while they anxiously await the new album.Janet Jackson just released a new single with rapper Pitbull.I don't think it will be on her upcoming album,it's just a fun,"teaser" single for the fans.Madonna should use this strategy too.

It would be great if this is a "teaser" single....something to keep us happy until the album is finished.As someone mentioned above,the old way of doing things is over.Artists have to be creative and release their music in new,exciting ways.Janet Jackson recently released an Internet-single with Pitbull.It probably won't be on her upcoming album,it's just a little gift to her fans.I'd like for Madonna to do something like that! Give us a great,fun single for the springtime!

My **guess** is that she IS planning a tour,but it won't take place until 2011.A new album will be released by the end of this year (most likely,the fall).
It would be silly for her to go out on tour without a new album.A "greatest hits tour" just isn't her style.

I'm glad she's not touring this summer.I want her to finish the new album in time for a fall release.There is plenty of time to tour in 2011,but right now,let's get the album finished.

A reliable member of the M-Tribe forum, talked to Jaime King today at a fitness class they attend in LA together, and Jaime said he recently talked to Madonna on the phone and told the member that "A New Album very soon, with a tour to follow soon as well", that is what Madonna told him!
"Soon"? I bet that Madonna hasn't even recorded more than one or two songs yet.

I love that part! I like how that line is repeated over and over as the music quiets down.You think the song is finally over and then BOOM! Timbaland drops a new beat and the song continues a little longer.

I only imagine this song in a slow way. I always think it was rushed up.
There's a rumor that this song was originally a haunting piano ballad,but Timbaland added a cool beat and it became uptempo.Not sure if that's true,but I could easily see it being a sad ballad.

Do you guys remember an R&B band known as The Deele? LA Reid and Babyface were members of this band.On their 1987 song "Hip Chick",they list a bunch of famous women that they admire.Of course,Madonna is mentioned....

A few years later,Babyface was working with Madonna.

I just read this on wikipedia, not sure if it's true. "Guetta is now working on Madonna, Akon, Britney Spears, Kelis, Céline Dion, Lady Gaga, Estelle, Shanell, Lil Jon, Ashanti, and Kelly Rowland upcoming albums for 2010." If that's the case Madonna would need to get hers our there first or her music could get overlooked amongst the rest of his collaborations if the sound is not unique enough.
That's why I wish Madonna would release her album this summer (June would be perfect) before most of those albums are released.If she takes her time and waits until 2011 to release it,the music will sound old and outdated.She needs to strike right NOW before Guetta's sound becomes played out.

I really hope the sound of the new album is like this. It'd be a new direction for Maodnna and i'm sure it'd work out amazingly. Ester is gonna bring it!
Yeah,I like the idea of Madonna going in a totally new direction!! If this rumor is true,it proves that she is artistically inspired and wants to try some new beats and sounds.

I think Guetta has done some really good songs over the years, in terms of writing club classics. But his production is not very exciting. I hope what he does for Madonna is not typical doosh doosh club music. I don't object to that sort of thing, but I think for Madonna it may end up too generic (Like Celebration was.) Maybe in the US his sound seems new, but his music has been played in clubs elsewhere for many many years.
As much as people object, if she's going to work with already hot producers I wouldn't mind will.i.am as well. Black Eyed Peas latest album is fantastic and he is far more versatile than David Guetta. And he's not working with every man and his dog like Red One.
Actually...the best moments on the Black Eyed Peas' latest album are the collaborations with David Guetta
"I Gotta Feeling" seems tailor-made for Madonna,I wish she had gotten that song first.I feel the same way about "Rock That Body" and "Meet Me Halfway".

damn,why does David keep mentioning "Revolver"? That remix is old news! The next time he opens his mouth to discuss Madonna,I hope he mentions the *NEW* music that he is currently producing for her.I don't wanna hear about "Revolver" anymore.
