  1. Why does she keep saying she has no record deal ? I thought the Live Nation deal covered that ?

Yeah,it's annoying to see her saying that.I think what she really means is...she doesn't have a "normal" recording contract. The LiveNation contract is unchartered territory. They have no experience when it comes to promoting, marketing and distributing albums. There's alot of speculation that LiveNation will only finance the album, but will allow a major record company (possibly Warners) to distribute it.

  2. I wouldn't really mind waiting until later 2011 for a new album. As long as what she delivers is amazing I can wait.

I agree.I can wait for a new album.I think it's a good thing when an artist takes a break.Madonna can now take her time to become inspired again and write some GREAT songs. She can search for an excellent producer/collaborator to work with.Look at Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey and how they rushed out their last couple of albums. Those albums are weak and uninspired.I wouldn't want Madonna to go down that path.

  3. Oh god, more of this baloney?

Gaga will never be the next anything. She's just Lady Gaga for better or worse. What can she do that Madonna hasn't already done? Nothing. She will always live in Madonna's shadow like the obnoxious clown she is. End of story.

I AGREE! Lady Gaga is doing things that Madonna already did two decades ago,but critics and young people act as if it's so "new" and "original".It's actually a compliment to Madonna when people refer to GaGa as "the new Madonna".It means that Madonna truly made an impact on pop culture,to the point that so many are now copying her.Madonna is a leader. The folks who copy her are just wannabees, but there's nothing like the real thing.

  4. As much as I would love some new Madonna music,I think it's a good idea that she's taking her time and not rushing into things. She's probably gonna spend a long time on the next album....listening to many demos, choosing songs, deciding on who to work with, etc. Her next album is gonna be the beginning of a whole new era for her. It'll be the start of the "LiveNation years".She probably wants to begin this era with a truly brilliant, inspired album. We'll just have to be patient.

  5. I love this song...it's so emotional and heartfelt. The way she sings the line "can't bring myself to let you go",you can hear the heartbreak in her voice. The video is one of her best videos.Absolutely brilliant! It's like a really good mini-movie with a shocking ending.

I hope she performs this song on a future tour.

  6. HUMO 30.03.2010

Have u ever heard Madonna's 'Like It Or Not' from 'Confessions on A Dancefloor'? It was her attempt at making a Goldfrapp record.

'Black Cherry' Godlfrapp to be specific.

Alison Goldfrapp : 'Never heard it, that song. I couldn't care less what she or whoever does. Madonna is always copying other people's work. yuck.'

Well you guys are quite good at it yourself : 'Ooh La La' was a T-Rex ripp-off. 'Cologne Cerrone Houdini' could have been any Gainsbourg song

on 'Histoire de Meldoy Nelson'. And those are just two examples.

Alison Goldfrapp : 'We have a perfectly legitimate post-modern explanation for that. (laughs) Those songs are an Hommage! We steal like magpies but we pay tribute to our heroes at any chance we get, in interviews etc.. . Everyone should know by now that Marc Bolan was my idol growing up. But we'll never be caught following the latest trend or collaborating with the hottest Dj's and producers just to get their names on our record sleeves. That's not our style.

Then Christina Aguilera is mentioned..& Cuntflap makes up this excuse that for once she was curious what it would be like to work with a real American popstar..but that it didn't turn out well. It's not their thing and she and Gregory can only write for each other..blablabla .

She is such a cunt! In her view, when Madonna does a song that sounds like something else,it's a rip-off.But when Goldfrapp does a song that sounds like another song,it's a "homage"???! Bitch, get the hell outta here! She's too dumb to realize that much of the 'COADF' album is Madonna's homage to classic dance/disco music. If some songs resemble other songs, that was INTENTIONAL! And Stuart Price was not exactly "the hottest producer" in the pop music world when he produced that record (he still isn't).What the hell is this Alison bitch talking about??!! She's a lying bitch. She should be more concerned with her OWN career, which really isn't doing that great.Did Goldfrapp's last tour gross over $300 million?? Will Goldfrapp ever be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? I don't think so! Until Alison can top Madonna's accomplishments, she needs to keep her irrelevent mouth shut.I can't stand it when jealous 'nobodies' talk shit about Madonna.Their jealousy is so transparent.

  7. Alison Goldcrapp is just a bitter, jealous, irrelevent wannabee. She knows that she will NEVER be as popular, respected and admired as Madonna is and she can't stand it.It's really sad that she has spend her time taking pot shots at Madonna. If she was smart, she would sit her ass down,STUDY Madonna and take notes.Maybe then, she would actually make some kind of impact in the music world.

  8. I'm not gonna take these early rumors seriously.I remember when 'Hard Candy' was being recorded,Ne-Yo mentioned in an interview that he was working on songs for Madonna's new album.Akon and producer Swizz Beatz said the same thing.Of course, these guys' songs didn't appear on the album. They, along with this Jason Derulo guy, should really keep their mouths shut until the final tracklist of the album is revealed, lol.

Apparently, when Madonna is recording a new album, she likes to seek out demos from other artists and producers. It doesn't mean that their songs are gonna wind up on the album.

  9. Well, Revolver is released as cd single just now in USA. It has flopped so hard that Lil Wayne and Guetta don't even know that it was released ages ago. Could it be the most disastrous single ever released? I wonder if Madonna knows that it enterered at 145 or something in UK.

That's because Warners has NO clue what they're doing anymore. They release her singles with virtually no promotion,I doubt that they even bother sending the song to radio stations! We can't blame the song...it's extremely catchy, commercial and radio-friendly.It has a sound that's popular in the US right now.
