  1. Just generally speaking, isn't the way of "revolution of love" to reach out to people who need reaching out to? Some people have very strange views that I don't get and I often try to understand where those views originated from. Is what they say out of something lacking in their own thought process or out of hate?

I don't know anything about Madonna going to this event but I have noticed that she focuses on not giving negativity power and it often comes across the wrong way to people.

That's why I said on personal level she is free to remain friends (if she wants) and likely (knowing Madonna) try and influence their views in private.

  2. On a personal level, I don't think D&G's view on gay marriage should be issue for her continuing friendship with them. Friends can have widely divergent views on topics.

On a business/PR level, I don't think it's a particularly good look to publicly associate with them, given her strong public views on a 'revolution of love', 'pro-gay rights', and 'freedom' in general. It has the potential to undermine that credibility, fairly or not. And given the media's delight in shitting on Madonna, I wouldn't be surprised if there is backlash.

    And finally. PIG SMELTON.

During the tour Sticky and Sweet in Lisbon Madonna showed on stage what is called by some dancing, and by others copulation with a guitar . Unfortunately , whatever it would not be , I ended up falling.

  4. Not really, I think he often puts Madonna down in articles so more of an ex-fan pretending to be a casual fan. Not sure why these people are always having to tell us all about how they don't like Madonna much anymore plus bringing up her age. I think they are more haters to be honest. Also, in saying they hate her new stuff, they have not even listened to it. Notice how they just talk about Bitch, I'm Madonna. They have not even bothered to listen to the new album. A lot of sexism going into this too. I know we say it over and over, but no-one goes mad about Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, Sting - all older than Madonna.

I actually have noticed the opposite experience. Notice a lot of people who I consider casual fans, talking of their love for her this last week.

I don't really know his history in regards to Madonna, but why am I not surprised he's one of those 'fans'. I guess I've become desensitised to the media's sexism and hate when I comes to the QUEEN. :(

Although what struck a chord was the whole new music vs. the classics. That's a big sticking point for casual fans whom may not get around to Madonna's new music (for whatever reason, probably lack of big chart hits since 4 Minutes to hook them in) and just want <insert nostalgia> and at an affordable price. I know that's the case with my friends.

  5. If you're talking Melbourne floor seats, it would be about a third of the way from the last seat in that row to the tip of the heart stage

In Brisbane, JJ is Row 10 in Section J. There are 60 seat allocations running from left to right (facing the stage), so 46 will be 15 seats closer to the heart stage than Seat 60....

Thanks for the responses, but I'm in Sydney.

The only detail on the map they give is the seat area letter (for floor sections) or number (for elevated section)... no row or seat markings.

Anyway, i'll give it another shot when and if they put on more dates.
