  1. The concert was a lot of fun. I wasn't in the best section, but the crowd at MSG was really awesome so I just jumped and yell like a little kid. I'm still aching from all of the jumping I did.

I spent well over $2000 for this, and it was worth every penny! I can't wait for concert #2 here in Chicago!

My seats, if you guys remember, were in section 221 for $350 which all of you said was a rip off. They were pretty good side view. Close enough to the stage to see her dancing her ass off. However, I didn't get to really enjoy all of the screens at all. What does one have to do to get 4 seats together on the floor next time?

Anyway, what a great weekend! I think I had just about as much fun at Confessions and Re-Invention. And Pharrell at the end was AWESOME! I don't think those of us on the sides and upper floor realized he came out during beat goes on as well.

BTW, DWRY was so artsy! The show would have been perfect had she included some more elements like this. But nonetheless, a great night.

  2. sec 221 is not worth all that money, i have section 85 and based on the stage tonight I will sell it if its far away.

No tickets are opening up btw.

Seems like they opened tickets up this past weekend and last week and now everything is shut down.

At first I thought it was a mistake on ticketmaster's part. But I did email them and they said prices are set by the promoter. So I guess I'll have to take the fight with Live Nation. I mean, it's fairly close to the right side of the stage. I'm still hopeful the view will be great.

  3. My trip is gonna be short. Less than 24 hours. I will get into NYC around 5 pm I will get ready and head to the show in 2-2:30 hours after that.. I will be leaving the next morning.

So crazy but I am all for it!

I am kinda doing the same thing, but a little longer. Fly in at 9 am on Friday. Fly out at 6 AM (!!!!) on Sunday. Needless to say, I am going to be in very bad shape on that flight back home to Chicago.

I'm still worried about my section. 221 appears to be way off to the side. Yet, for $365 dollars plus fees per ticket, I am expecting a spectacular view. Otherwise, there will be major bitching at Ticketmaster/ Live Nation.

  4. ^ I agree. I understand it can be pricey. But it really is all about demand and supply. If the prices were low, everyone and their goddam momthers would be able to buy tickets. If you think it's hard now, imagine the chaos at fans trying to get $100-$200 floor tickets. It'd be pure madness.

It sucks for some, but she is the biggest icon alive today.

  5. Thats true, but if those tiks on stubhub dont sell, her deal with them isnt so great.

:banghead: oy vey. LOL Her deal with Stub hub is that she just gets a flat cut of the transaction of reselling the ticket. It has no bearing on whether or not the arena is half empty or overcrowded or full with smurfs.

  6. Stubhub has thousands of tickets for sale. if those dont get sold its going to look like a very empty arena not a sold out show.

i follow what you're saying, but I still think most of the tickets on stubhub are from people who think they can make a buck out of the tickets they have in their possession. I have a friend who last year got like four floor tickets, then scalped two of them for enough money that she ended up not only going to the concert for free, but turning a profit as well. Very shady of course, but that's what people do.

So while I definitely agree that there could be empty seats, i don't think it's a vast majority of what's available at stub hub. and if they are are "empty" tickets, whoever owns them will be desperately trying to get rid of them come date of concert.

  7. I disaagree, stubhub is partners with Madonna, ticketmaster and stubhub are offcially represented as 2 places to obtain Madonna tickets. You have a choice ticketmaster or stubhub.

StubHUb has thousands of great seats available, the show is not sold out.

dude, that's not how stubhub works. Yeah, you can buy tickets there, but they are already owned by someone else who bought them at face value.
