Yes, yes, yes to everything! Erotica is my absolute favourite album and these songs are why. Brilliant!
And this isn't the only one that sets her apart from the others. Even when I listen to hard candy (probably my second favourite) I listen and realize that all her songs (no matter how juvenile they may appear to some on the surface) have a maturity and depth that I don't hear in other pop music. She is genius
I totally agree, especially since the songs and their lyrics are not meant to be taken at face value. Heartbeat for example has such a sense of longing for her care free days before she was famous. Listen to it again and imagine madonna reminiscing about the good old days on the dance floor at danceteria.

I much preferred the sort pre Hard Candy look, the shoulder length silver blonde hair, the racoon eyes, the slight manic expression, all the satin dresses and shirts. Sort of 60s inspired madam, but all very current. Very creamy smooth.

She could be very adventurous with her single releases, because let's face it she's not gonna get radio play. Also videos could be filmed and then used for backdrops on the tour, we all know how frugaldonna is with her cash

I think GMAYL was a perfect song for the Super Bowl,but it should have been marketed/promoted as a "buzz single" ,created strictly for that event.She should have quickly followed it up with a strong,official first single ("I'm Addicted").Hopefully,this time around,the right singles will be chosen.

I want to share that I was totally blown away when i heard for the first time the HC tracks thru file sharing of the fans on the net. A heady rush kind of feeling! Never felt that kind of fantastic sonic experience since the ROL album.
I did too! I remember hearing the few second clips from a foreign website. I got chills when I heard those crazy GI2M synths during the chorus and the melody of incredible.
Can't believe it's been 6 yrs
