The information was probally mis informed.
Earlier, someone said how they went to FYE and asked about Celebration, they were told there was going to be a special editon with a DVD included.
That was me! he also said that everything was subject to change tho.

The part during "Beat Goes On" when her vest gets caught in her mic pack around 0:52 is pretty funny. Has that happened at any of the other shows before??
Well she's been having issues with the CS jacket and now the vest. that is not cute!

But I Didnt Mind.Not to Mention It was FREEZING/ RAINY Outside.
I Was Higher Up in the Seats, and Mostly Everyone Around me was old enough to be my Father.
But I Stood Up the ENTIRE CONCERT Too. I Danced to Every song & I Even Sang "Expres Yourself" during the Requests.
I Really Enjoyed Myself, but I do wish the other People were as Excited as I Was.

Yeah it was such a nasty day, but I'm glad it was cool out so I could wear my new hoodie. I warned my boyfriend about the lateness beforehand but he still couldn't believe it. I told him I would wait for the queen forever!!! I was up the whole time, also sang every song. I also let my boyfriend know he was forbidden to sit. No I don't remember the Bacardi thing tho. How did you think the show was compared to youtube clips?

Yeah I was there. I had two drunk old ladies to my left and a couple of boring, old alpharetta queens to the right.
I was the only one jumping and shouting and stuff, I didn't care I had me a good time, I just wish there would have been some cool/fun people around me. I swear next tour I'm going overseas!!!!! wasn't she like two hrs late? lol

Has there been any news about whether there would also be a DVD release to go along with the greatest hits? Sort of the way TIC was released with an accompanying video...
The clerk at FYE looked in to the release list and told me there would be a special edition CD with a DVD. of course he said all was subject to change by the lable.

CELEBRATE video shoot, It's going to be awesome!!!
MadonnaTribe community member Lombo1983 reports from the location of the Celebrate video at Metropol:
"Last night I was at the Metropol, every fan came up with a Madonna look. The fashion stylist there was looking at the fans' various outfits, looks and memorabilia and in case they were not what they wanted they helped with extra clothes and stuff they had ready there.
They used a total of 25 fans and among the look that were chosen there were Like a virgin, Cowgirl, Gheisha, Hung up, 1987 look, DWT look and more. Reportedly director Jonas Akerlund stood there on the set for the whole time and apparently Madonna tried on several wigs. Madonna did some rehearsals for the video on Friday but her bits were filmed yesterday. They apparently filmed for 8 hours just the same part of the song over and over and they never played the full song.
These footage will be edited with the parts filmed last week at the Gold restaurant and the fans.The fans taking part to the video first danced to the new dancey song all together, then they were filmed separately while dancing on his/her own in front a white screen.
The final editing will probably happen in New York and security there revealed that Milan was the location chosen since Dolce & Gabbana offered their Metropol space reportedly for free." :vanitybonet:

Just heard it.... A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
An all out dance record, even more so than hung up... very Ibiza, very Oakenfold but still VERY Madonna. Think 'When Love Takes Over' meets 'Southern Sun' and 'Toca Me' and also similar to the Above & Beyond mix of WIFLFAG (sorry the only tracks I can think of to compare to right now - others more suitable will probably spring to mind!).
Couldn't record but noted lyrics (below is verse 2 and chorus 2). The bridge is spoken word rather than sung and very M - has a funny line about 'not recognising you with your clothes on! Any lyrical reference to 'Celebration' doesn't come in til the second chorus (simple 'yeah' is in it's place in chorus one). Was also told it's NOT going to radio til Aug 3rd?!
Basically, we're all gonna be dancing our asses off to this track all Summer! Love it!

I went to FYE today and asked the clerk if he knew of madonna's new GH release date. He looked it up on the list and said sep 15th(he said it was not set in stone and that the label might change it) there's suppose to be a especial edition with dvd and the basic releaase. also S&S DVD NOV 1ST

Wow all the singles from True Blue! the Album was huge worldwide. I guess on disc one she wanted to include songs that don't appear on TIC such as DYU, TB and OF it makes sense. And yes a hit was left here(TUTBMP, WTG) and replaced by a minor hit there(HN, OF) but it's still a great mix of songs for those casual fans who don't have either TIC or GHV2.

So lemme get this straight...some unknown hall and oats wannabes write the song like a virgin, same unknown assholes sing it, sent it to Madonna to record it with her own vocals - and now one of those black guys from CHIC is producing it and she will do a video riding a gondola.
