  2. Wow! So happy for the all the love HC is getting now. You guys said it all perfectly well re the awesomeness of this album. I have nothing to add anymore. :) But I want to share that I was totally blown away when i heard for the first time the HC tracks thru file sharing of the fans on the net. A heady rush kind of feeling! Never felt that kind of fantastic sonic experience since the ROL album.

HC is the album I can listen to from start to finish without skipping. Give it 2 Me, Incredible & Heartbeat are life! Pharrell is really perfect for Madonna. They should have work more together.

But Spanish Lesson should have been replaced by Latte though. :)

I really appreciate both the Timbaland (since the 90s) & Pharrell sounds. Im addicted to HC from day 1! ;)

  3. Such a great happy song! Always give me good vibes. One of my fave tracks ever!

I think Where's The Party was released as an official single here in the Philippines. True Blue (album) was an all time best seller here.

  4. I luv this beautiful ballad! Like her vocals and the way she sings...very clear...Never thought she would have another hit after the backlash and string of flop singles from the Erotica era. A true radio hit back in 1994! The first time I heard this song on my way to my highschool graduation. Unforgettable moment at that time when radio stations premiering new Madonna song after a long dry spell.

Not a fan much of the video coz its somewhat similar to Rain vid. But she's glamorous in the video.

  5. Yeah, she was obviously totally terrified. But she was also obviously nervous in 1991. She was even shaking a little bit. I do think the fact that YMLM is a slower song is why it's more difficult to sing, but then that assumes you all agree that's not as good of a performance, which doesn't seem to be the case. YMLM's also really out of her comfort zone, range-wise. But Sondheim isn't easy to sing either. SOL is not an easy song, especially for someone untrained like Madonna. And yet I find it infinitely better sung, both in form and pitch. I'm convinced vocal lessons ruined her singing instincts. She didn't really know what she was doing in the early years - she just sang the way it felt natural and good, and so it usually came out nicely. As soon as she got "lessons," I feel like she overthinks her singing so much. She tries so hard to sing "right" that she ends up sounding worse.

    This! :)
