    New Album Means New Tour

This tea. We made GMAYL go #1 for Christ's sake! She has 20+ #1s here, more than any artist EVER. While the US fell out of love w/ M, Canada remained LOYAL

    New Album Means New Tour

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but many media sources are reporting Madonna will not be touring "anytime soon". 😞 http://instinctmagazine.com/post/sad-news-madonna-unlikely-tour-anytime-super-soon http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-6001389/Madonna-not-going-tour-60th-birthday.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-6001389/Madonna-not-going-tour-60th-birthday.html
  3. THIS^^^^ she could also do 80s remixes of hits like sorry, music, jump, give it 2 me, etc. Give them a REALLY retro vibe, like they were really from the 80s.

    Your Top 10 Debut Albums....

Whoa Nelly by Nelly Furtado is probably my favourite debut album ever. It was so fresh and inspired and it was really set apart from typical teen pop acts of the time.
  5. - More thematic/conceptual performances. Rebel Heart lacked a theatrical edge to me and seemed more like "Madonna on a whim". I want a spectacle. - More choreography. It doesn't have to be high-energy/intensity, just more calculated movements for both Madonna and her backup dancers. I would love to see ballroom dancing incorporated again like Erotica on the Confessions Tours. - Use videos of classic looks/moments throughout her career as the visual backdrop. Like her performance of Music at the Grammys. It would get the crowd really hyped. Set list wishes: - More hits. Sorry, I know people are gonna hate me, but she has more hits than any other singer ever and they just sit there collecting dust. - More mid-90s to mid-2000s lesser hits. (Secret, Beautiful Stranger, Frozen, Drowned World, Don't Tell Me, Get Together, Nothing Fails ALL deserve performances.) - 80s classics she hasn't done in a while. (Papa Don't Preach, INTO THE MOTHERF*CKING GROOVE aka her best dance song, Borderline, Pray for Spanish Eyes) - OPEN WITH A CLASSIC!!!! I personally would love PDP, with a LONG ass dramatic string intro.
  6. if madonna's next tour is around 25 songs again (as MDNA and RHT were), this is what I want: 10 M14 tracks + these back catalog tracks 1. nothing fails 2. frozen 3. beautiful stranger 4. papa don't preach 5. like a prayer 6. into the groove 7. borderline 8. sorry 9. don't tell me 10. vogue 11. music 12. holiday 13. secret 14. live to tell 15. take a bow
  7. Hopefully none. Not because theyre THAT bad, but there are too many classics and overlooked gems to include MDNA songs.

For all of you who saw Madonna live, close up...

Wow. I adore k.d. lang, so this is a very interesting point. Would love to see her live.
  9. There was way too much Rebel Heart on the RHT setlist. I think we can all agree on that.

    New Album Means New Tour

People are gonna hate me for this but I gotta say it- I wish she would take a few voice lessons before this next tour. To increase her range. I couldn't help feel like she was pushing it with some of the songs on the Rebel Heart Tour, and I don't want a limited range to affect her set list on this upcoming tour. I'm looking back at the S&S Tour and she sounds like she did in the 90s and even the 80s... her voice retention is unbelievable but I feel like all of a sudden before the RH era her voice got deeper and less agile. Like a whole octave lower. I really want her to be able to sing the fuck out of her songs because her discography deserves that.

    New Album Means New Tour

No one says she necessarily has to be at that level... MDNA choreo was nuts and lasted the entire show. But the setlist could be more high-energy, her backup dancers could be more high-energy, and selected performances of hers (not all obviously) can be high energy. I think she is very capable still of doing that. I found the RH setlist was this slow/chill/groove sort of thing, which I didn't love.

    New Album Means New Tour

I hope this next tour's choreography is a lot more energetic and- well, choreographed. RHT seemed more Madonna on-a-whim, more closely connected to audience, but I miss that calculated, choreographed-to-the-tee performances a la Sticky and Sweet, MDNA, Confessions Tour. Her music deserves that level of visual spectacle. Also she MUST perform Beautiful Stranger.

    Performance vs Performance

Live to Tell (CT) vs Gang Bang (MDNA)

    Her next tour

Okay legit question: do you think this tour will struggle to sell-out venues more or less than Rebel Heart Tour? I think she can do SOME stadiums (hear me out) if she goes to overlooked, SECONDARY cities she's never visited/usually skipped over for large tours (Malaga, Krakow, Lyon, Toulouse, basically all of eastern Europe). Exact same thing for South American and Asian cities.
