When we got the first 6 tracks for Rebel Heart I was way more enthusiastic and thrilled than right now.

I agree: The Rebel Heart demos excited me much more than what we have heard of Madame X so far. It's all nice and okay (and the visuals are awesome!), but there's not one song to say "this is one of the best songs I have ever heard of Madonna" - not even in the top 30 of her best singles. But I still believe in Madame X. I still believe there are some masterpieces coming. Fortunately, the official and unofficial mixes save it for me.

This is definately NOT the video shot in LA indeed. And I also can't see her performing this or I Rise at Eurovision. I wonder what she'll perform there. This also isn't controversial as was reported earlier. I'm thinking "Killers Who Are Partying" was originally intended to be released earlier and something must have happened. I'll wait for the next track and pray for the Mirwais tracks!!!

I think the same: Killers was intended for the ESC but was skipped by the EBU because of the controversal lyrics/title and now the plans have changed. I guess we get a Killers release after the ESC...

well, I've repeated it since the leak.. I havent repeated the other songs that much. I really love the mellow vibe, I think it's the strongest of the three so far.

Yes, it sounds much more radio friendly than the other two songs and could chart much higher worldwide. But I guess Medellin was the right choice as a first single because it was an unexpected surprise and had a massive wow factor to get worldwide attention for her new direction.

That is wierd a bit. The songs she release are good, but i always listen wanting to be blown away but something truly unique. Medellin did that to me. I rise and Crave are great but i can quote 10 songs similar with my eyes shut. It is like she tease one thing and then release quite the opposite. Everithing that was in the Madame x promo clip was amasing

It's great how she builds up this momentum/suspense and increases from announcement to announcement. Obviously this time she firstly collects an all new audience who aren't casual Madonna fans before she (hopefully) strikes massively.

A ballad!? I’m ready to Dance this summer not sit down lol so far the first 3 songs released have been slow....let’s dance please 💃🏻

So far, the fan mixes have put me off quite well. I prefer to workout and run to fast rhythm tracks. Surprisingly I Rise works so much better as a disco stomper.

The face is too photoshopped. And it's a shame because it's a great shot overall.

You shouldn't forget that this was primarily a fashion shooting aiming a younger readership. Even the photos of the young models are photoshopped heavily.

I love Offer’s remixes. Waiting to hear his versions of Medellin on Spotify, not judging based on an edit in another DJ’s podcast.

No need to go to circuit parties to listen to these kind of club songs. They’re perfect for a workout.

His remixes are on my workout and running playlists too. But this Set Me Free Remix sounds just like a failed teaser. I hope his other Medellin remixes are more oriented on the original because I prefer full vocal remixes.

  8. The song is okay and I can imagine that it could work great live with the audience. At the moment I like the visuals and story of Madame X much more than the two songs. But I can comprehend why she prefers to present edgier and less catchy pop tunes at the beginning of this era to build up a certain tension.
