I was shocked to see Rest in Peace (RIP) messages in this thread.

Hopefully they meant Rot in Pieces.  Good riddance, Fidel.

I appreciated the following response on Twitter:

#Castro was a fraud who didn’t respect the people enough to trust them with any power. Fifty wasted years for #Cuba.

Le Pen congratulates the far right neonazi for the good results, and urges him to keep on going.

There are two people in this forum who are defending Le Pen in the other thread. It is important to know.

Stop knowingly spreading lies about me. The fact that you're worked up about politically sensitive issues is understandable, but it doesn't make it okay for you to smear me with false accusations. This is the third post in a third thread. Stop this FALSE SMEAR campaign.

Didnt Bush attack Iraq and started it, not Hillary and Obama? And you really think Trump will be better? He just named a man in his cabinet who wants to invade and bomb IRAN to the ground, for gods sake.

Who? If you're referring to James Mattis, then you're talking out of your ass.

Correction: Sunni Syrians who want sharia law and a Sunni controlled government aren't free.

I'm going to screen cap all of the shit you're saying because lord forbid if you and the West get what you want in 5 years we will be hearing how one of the few traditionally secular countries left in the Arab world has turned into another Sunni controlled country (backed by Saudi Arabia) with oppressed Christians and Shia muslims with textbooks for children that say that all Christians and Shias must be fed to the dogs (that's what they say in Saudi Arabia). And you'll pretend like you never said any of this.

I have NEVER said that Assad was an angel, but I have said over and over again that people like you talk about this as if the U.S. went into this because they feel so bad and sorry for all those poor wittle Syrians and they want to make sure that mean old Assad doesn't hurt them anymore. By that logic we would've tried and hanged the entire Saudi Royal family for being the most disgusting, oppressive, VILE dictatorship in power right now.

    AGREE.

Well, being that Hillary is now something near 2.5 million more votes than him, it really would be the RIGHT thing for the Electoral College to do in this most unusual of election cycles. The people have indeed spoken who they want, yet the Electoral College has completely defied that. So, some policies and procedures will have to be changed in order for that to happen, so what?? Shake up the system right?? Isn't that what this is all about?? However, as much as I and the MAJORITY of American voters would LOVE for that to happen, it never will. Not only that, I think our beloved Crooked Hillary would have to accept and honestly, I think even she treasures this outdated system we have too much to do that. So, don't worry nobody is coming for your assault rifles and the little whores in your town will soon be in back alleys shoving coat hangers in their pussies to terminate their own pregnancies, if Pence has as much say as I'm sure he will, those annoying faggots won't be able to get married and gradually you'll see those dirty Mexicans start to disappear. Those are the things that are gonna make America great again after all!  America has really SCORED this go round!! WINNING!

  7. Stein sues after Wisconsin refuses to order hand recounts

Madison — The Wisconsin Elections Commission agreed Monday to begin a recount of the presidential election on Thursday but was sued by Green Party candidate Jill Stein after the agency declined to require county officials to recount the votes by hand.

It will be a race to finish the recount in time to meet a daunting federal deadline, and the lawsuit could delay the process. Under state law, the recount must begin this week as long as Stein or another candidate pays the $3.5 million estimated cost of the recount by Tuesday, election officials said.

Also Monday, Stein filed a lawsuit in Pennsylvania to force a recount there and her supporters began filing recount requests at the precinct level in the Keystone State. Stein — who received just a tiny piece of the national vote — also plans to ask for a recount in Michigan on Wednesday.

Unless Stein wins her lawsuit in Dane County Circuit Court, officials in each of Wisconsin’s 72 counties would decide on their own whether to do their recounts of the 2.98 million statewide votes by machine or by hand, with dozens of counties expected to hand count the paper ballots.

  8. Pennsylvania State Department says Stein missed recount deadline

Jill Stein has everything she needs to launch a presidential recount. She's got the cash, the grassroots fervor and the spotlight of an adoring media. But there's one thing she needs to overturn Trump's victory: a calendar.

Stein missed Pennsylvania's deadline to file for a voter-initiated recount. That blown deadline is a huge blow for Democrats who have pinned their hopes on recounts in the Keystone State, Michigan and Wisconsin.

"According to Wanda Murren, spokeswoman for the Pennsylvania Department of State," the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Monday, "the deadline for a voter-initiated recount was Monday, Nov. 21."

Allied with Clinton's camp, Stein can still mount a legal challenge. While the chances of litigation are uncertain, the vote tally is clear. Trump beat Clinton in Pennsylvania, a feat not accomplished by a Republican since Ronald Reagan in 1988.

  9. But that tweet about MILLIONS of illegals voting, costing him the popular vote...... Without providing proof or calling for investigations he should not make such huge claims. Will he succeed in distracting people with these Trumpisms? Will it become a temporary new normal during his Presidency? Will he be made to pay a price for them? Very curious to see if / how the political and business establishment will interact with him. Conflict of interest with his business empire. Will he be impeached? Uncharted territory......

^^^ Democrat and high-profile surrogate for Trump? Now I guess this is as opportunistic as it gets. He may go to libertarian and green events as well. The man knows where the voters are. Anyway. His ideas as written above are truly mind blowing. To even consider someone like him who obviously has a lack of understanding of laws and the constitution (citizens questioned without an attorney, held indefinitely, case handled by a military tribunals, remember those are people merely suspected of being a terrorist or whatever) is like a very bad joke. Those are measures taken by a military junta or a fascist or communist regime. And people thought the people around Bush Jr. were bad.

Well you can thank Saint Obama for getting rid of habeas corpus.

  11. Democrat for Department of Homeland Security?

Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. is scheduled to meet Monday in New York with President-elect Donald Trump (http://on.jsonl.in/2gp8u0b), according to news reports quoting a Trump aide. Clarke, who runs as a Democrat, was a high-profile surrogate for Trump during the campaign. Clarke has been mentioned as a potential Trump appointee to head the Department of Homeland Security.

"The sheriff has nothing to say," Clarke's spokeswoman, Fran McLaughlin, said Friday when asked to confirm Monday's meeting.

When asked earlier this month if he expected a role in the Trump White House, Clarke told radio host Joe Pags: "I don't expect anything, I don't have an entitlement mentality. I told Donald Trump I wanted to help him because I thought that this country needed his leadership. That being said, if the president asks you to serve, you step up to fulfill that duty. So if he feels that I can help him and he calls on me, sure I'll accept it, but I'm not expecting anything."

In his upcoming memoir, Clarke has called for an overhaul of the nation's Homeland Security program, writing that American citizens suspected of being terrorists should be treated as "enemy combatants" who can be questioned without an attorney, arrested by authorities and held indefinitely.

Their cases would then be handled by military tribunals, not the traditional court system.

"We are at war. Homegrown radicalization has the enemy inside our borders," Clarke writes. "Islamist radicalized Americans are not criminals; they are enemy combatants."

Clarke has also spoken out forcefully in favor of Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., Trump's pick for attorney general.
