I kind of agree.

She will be held to an incredibly high standard if she does Glastonbury, legendary acts always are, and the media's knives will be out for her if she makes the slightest misstep.

For sure, and there will be a lot of non-fans there armed with their shitty takes. Janet's set was a bit of a disaster, the crowd were luke warm and the camera kept cutting to completely uninterested arseholes in the front row. At least the BST it should be all fans and die hards.

Unless there’s a tour planned before then, with Hyde park being the end of tour, similar to how Rio was at the end of celebration tour.

Yeah, basically a year from now. We don't know about the sequence of events we'll have 'til then, but it's very true that a deluxe reissue and a whole world tour could happen over the intervening months.

I assume it'll be the same campaign and take it to mean the album era is still in its early stages, which is exciting. It deserves a year-long focus.

They can sell quite quickly and the shows normally have good supporting bands. Although three nights in a row is quite a lot.

Didnt she perform Hyde Park during MDNA Tour?

It's a 70,000 capacity. Even Pitbull sold out I don't think I can name more than 2 of his songs. If it's Madonna's only UK gigs it'll be hard to get a ticket

Yes, I went to it. It's a really good location as it's central London unlike Wembley but people did complain about the sound further back and there is the legendary 10.30 curfew!

Not necessarily. That's 210,000 tickets and she hasn't sold that many tickets here in years.

However, the BST concerts have a more relaxed vibe with usually a decent support line up.  With the positive reception to the album, it's more likely to be a sell out than if she did three dates at Wembley which I think she'd struggle to sell on her own.

How can Take That, Beyonce and Bad Bunny sell multiple stadium nights but you think M couldnt? Even if they were here only UK dates and off a succesful album?

Based on previous touring history data. M has toured here a lot and she hasn't done a stadium since 2009 if I'm correct.

she did Hyde Park with MDNA , it's not a stadium but still it was an outdoor venue

fact is and i agree with you that after S&S tour she did stadiums ( stade de france for example) but she didn't sell that many tickets in them so she went back at arenas

I've never been to an outdoor Madonna concert before so I think I'd like the experience - I've seen her in arenas and theatres so stadium or Festival is next to tick off my bucket list! I went to Kylie at bst in 2025 and it was great (no sound issues)- but one lesson I've learned is to go gold circle at big stadium/festival shows!

British Summer Time, whilst a safer bet for her which I don't always agree with, I do like her risk-taking, will just be a nicer crowd of pop music fans and not a mainly bro'd up audience with their arms folded waiting to tear her down.

Unrelated and related at the same time: Shawn Levy is gonna direct Marvel Studios' Ghost Rider movie, premiering in 2028. Which means no bioseries in the near future.

There's a real chance she's touring next year, and these shows could be a first taste of that.
