I asked the same, and have been told South America doesnt have a chat system or shows the numbers (made no sense), but she's #1 in Brazil with danceteria on Apple Music (and AM is the biggest streaming platform in that country), with the entire album occupying the entire top 20 on iTunes, stores having to restock.. so sales must be huge. very convenient for cynics they're not getting the numbers from probably her most successful regions in the world Quote

Therefore, manipulating the figures to mask a positive or negative outcome based on personal convenience or preferences is ultimately pointless. Quote
