Ekubo Posted July 7 Author Posted July 7 They are really milking everything possible. But if this helps CII reaching #1 on Billboard, I am here to buy! Quote
Greeny Posted July 7 Posted July 7 bought on iTunes store for $3.99! let's secure that No. 1 spot for MUTHA! Quote

mtzlplk Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Cut to Billboard changing album sales rules effective July 2026... Quote
poprock Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Will all 5 copies count towards the charts if someone buys all of the iTunes versions? I thought only 4 copies count per person. Quote

HolidayGuy Posted July 7 Posted July 7 ^Let's not be mean-spirited, now. Don't want to send those acts' fans into a frenzy. poprock- I posted in the variants thread. It sounds like you can buy one copy of each variant and there's no issue with them counting for the charts. Direct-to-consumer sites sound like the bigger issue, rather than business-to-consumer ones like iTunes (and perhaps same for physical variants). Extra copies of the exact same album/variant probably would not count. There is a rule for new variants released midweek on D2C sites; they supposedly do not count. Greeny- where did you see it for $3.99? Shows $4.99 own U.S. iTunes (same price as the others). Quote

Madonna's official store is, imho. Quote
HolidayGuy Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Correct- artist sites are D2C. These are sites that bypass traditional merchant sites. I gather that's why the new digital variants were not put up for sale on the Madonna or Warner sites. Quote
Paul Posted July 7 Posted July 7 This is cute, but I imagine nobody outside this forum knows about them, and even #1 on itunes never shows up in chart sales anyway, so I dont think it will have that big an impact. but - and in complete contradiction on what we used to whinge about with COADF - I would to get a unmixed version (not just the unmixed instrumentals). Maybe that's week 2? Quote

Prayer85 Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Madame X went to the club to confess and is emptying my pockets. Quote
Mozo1 Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Ha, so buying, too! So this will be my fourth digital purchase. Bought it/streaming it on Amazon and iTunes as those are my usual listening avenues. Then saw the Icon edition (for hot sauce, I guess ) and now this one! Need! Quote
xoxoboi24 Posted July 7 Posted July 7 I want a bundle with single versions, instrumentals and NYC live. AND I want maxi singles. I’m ready to spend money. Vynil versions don’t do it for me though. Quote

HolidayGuy Posted July 7 Posted July 7 I think I read something about there being an issue with items selected as "gifts." Quote
Lolasmommy Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Wow I'm glad i had a reason to spend another variant, i already loved this as a cover but as soon as i saw the Times Square performances added i knew it was the one to buy! & the damn price is so cheap £3.99!!!! Quote
