yeah i thought the same. would be a good tactic to prevent a huge second-week drop, but maybe pure sales are less than we think and they see it's going to be close for #1?

I think it's a good move to release it now and make it only available for purchase. Instrumentals are fan materials. GP probably not interested so why put it on Spotify when they can benefit from an additional sale counting as a unit during week the first week. They really want this to hit #1 and she deserves it.

yeah they want the no.1 and they throwing everything they have...I want it too.. but what else they have to prevent for the 2nd week drop? Probably more tv interviews cause there have not been more than the Graham and the tik tok...She must go to big medias for the 2nd week in the US.

definitely, but i'd personally love to have it on streaming and it can only help her streaming numbers.

yeah, i'm already worried about next week. the drop will be steep because of the physical sales being so front-loaded. aside from new versions, there's not much they can do. hopefully the good reviews and word of mouth will keep it from being a huge % decrease. but it's definitely going to drop in rank.

it will increase again with the World cup final...But I hope she also announce the tour... if there is one to support the album..and then add the album with the pre-sales as they did with MDNA..lol

i think if there were going to be a tour this year we'd know about it by now. sounds like she's holding off for now. 

world cup final will impact week 3 so it could rebound a bit, but i'm guessing mostly streams, and mostly only the song(s) she performs.

I think that, at this point, from a PR perspective, they really want to be able to claim that after 41 years she can still score a #1 album on Billboard. It would be nice to have longevity but the drop in week 2 would be steep anyways, so why not play all their cards now.

Regarding the tour, I am also a bit skeptical but I still want to hope. Everything has been tight and well-controlled so far, so it is a possibility that they are managing the embargo just like they did with the album. Am I being delusional?

she did a full week on Ellen for promoting Rebel heart..what about now...I hope she goes Kimmel or something with live numbers.

BB and RIAA are different tho, that's why I specified for cert purposes by the RIAA , not BB 

it helped for BB200 placement that MX got the ticket/album bundles but they did not publish its full breakdown
