I mean imagine getting the album after hearing all the accolades.. And those songs are missing.

No, a friend bought a vinyl and missed the part that it’s only 12 tracks (she is a casual fan so not so familiar with the variants).  Then she got to listen to the rest of the 4 tracks in Spotify and was so upset and I agree those missing 4 tracks are so gooood, I can’t imagine not to close the album with LES girl.

Which are the four tracks that the 12-track version is missing?

The last four:

My Sins Are My Saviour

Betrayal

The Test

L.E.S. Girl

The last four tracks are such a great way to end the album. Without them I feel you miss a key part of the listening experience.

Love Sensation is missing from the 12-track, not My Sins are My Savior

Thanks for the correction! I assumed it was just the last four 😂

All the record vendors I spoke to the last few days were complaining about not being supplied enough of the of the 16 track double LP. Some of them didn’t even understand the difference between all the editions.

I have always hated this concept, no matter whether it was MDNA, RH or MX. It just degrades the omitted songs.

I've been listening to the 12 track vinyl (I got the pride edition) and the 16 track on Spotify. They both work for me tbh as different experiences.

It’s incomplete without the last few songs. The first 12 are more of the dance tracks and the last three/four are the chill out / cool down tracks after the party. So by that token, I guess you could make a case and say the standard LP/CD only focuses on the in-your-face dance songs. However, 16 track album is the definitive version which tells the whole story overall.

The fact that Rebel Heart wasn't on some versions was hilarious as it's the title track.

I can understand The test, betrayal and Les girls not on it as they're less dance oriented but Love Sensation should be on all versions! That's just bad.

One million percent agree. It degrades the whole album as a concept to never truly know what is the actual “real” album as it’s meant to be represented by the artist. So fucking dumb. Really just turns everything into a collection of songs vs an actual album with a vision.

Hot take: the album flows better with "Love Sensation" in its current position.

The 12 track flows better with side B being Everything->Love Without Words->Bizarre->School->Fragile->My Sins Are My Savior.

Love "Love Sensation" but it's a bit jarring being in the middle of two way more experimental tracks. It's more "Side A".

the last four are missing??????

Ok, it makes sense artistically, because they are not dance songs...but they are amazing! so far my favourites!

My Sins Are My Savior is the closing track.

I like the flow of the 12 tracks. I guess I'll stick to that version until I know it inside out, then I'll come back to the 16-track version later.

Yes, it makes total sense. It gives 2 different experiences, both worth having. I listen to the 16 track one and then I listen to the 12 one, and so on. It feels like 2 different albums. It is a great idea. That did not happen with the other 3 (MDNA, RH and MX), whose standard versions are just for collecting and sales. This one too, but I see the artistic purpose. Plus, the transition from Everything to Love Without Words is so good, it is meant to be. Also ending with My Sins Are My Savior is perfect. Again, almost 2 different albums.

I haven’t listened to the 12 track version yet but I’m curious to hear how the transition from Everything to LWW is.

I do find it weird that LS isn’t on it. Personally I would have kept the track list intact and ended the 12 track version with Fragile.

As others have stated I understand why she does this but I don’t like it. It’s one of the reasons REBEL HEART wasn’t better received because the “deluxe” was the real album. The standard doesn’t even deserve to exist.

Oddly enough though the stores I happened to be at today only had the 16 track CD. I don’t even think some retailers stocked the 12 track CD at all nor have I seen it offered by Amazon.

What? It's not merely incomplete, it's flat out not the album without the last 4 songs.

It's the comedown. The emotion and the introspection after the high. I mean it's a night on the dance floor in the 90s, right?

I agree. I don’t see the point to stick to the 12 tracks version. You miss what makes this album so great. Coïtus interruptus.

You end with Fragile and My Sins Are My Savior. So not "for dance" and that serves as the comedown.

Yes! I hope someone will tell us. ☺️

No, this is the first deluxe where bonus tracks really feel essential

It's too bad most of the variants are 12-track LPs
